I'm not going to write up a trip report since the captions for the pictures pretty much say what I want to say, but it was a very nice experience. Just getting to the park is a true get away. The park is located on it's own island, and you have to take a subway line just to get there. I don't think you could easily see any hotels or surrounding buildings (except for at the top of Tarzan's Treehouse), but you could see the mountains all around which does give you a feeling like you are in a inclusive resort.
The parade, Flights of Fantasy, was great, and higher quality than the parades WDW has currently (BPB was comparably fun, just not on the scale). Everything is new, and I don't feel like anything was lacking in quality. It was definitely fun to hear the characters and hear the finale of Small World in Chinese (I'm pretty sure it was Cantonese, the version of the language spoken in HK and south China).
In the end, for a first timer in a Disney park outside of Florida, I had a great experience on a very slow day. I waited no more than 10 minutes for everything, and got to do everything except for Stitch Encounter, Dumbo, and the train. I missed Art of Animation, which was located at the beginning of Main Street :veryconfu Oh, and Jungle Cruise has some really cool effects.
