Any one know how AP sales will go tomorrow? Will they be available online or do we have to call?

My proposal would be to make "Unleash the Villians" a weekend offering in the September/October months kind of how "Star Wars Weekends" are during the late spring/early Summer. I TBH feel bummed out that it's hard ticketed. Oh well it's always nice to dream anyway.
Yeah, especially with a phased pre-sale with passholders
To take what was done at the Friday the 13th event and improve upon it. Like others have stated, spread out the Villains, have more Villains for a longer time frame. Fast pass them if possible, like they do for the Star Wars special actor appearances. The signature cards are great too spends up the line movement, not having to wait for people to get autographs. A special photo pass package price for the event only pictures taken and loaded to your event ticket would be nice and maybe an event frame. Have more than just a dance party in front of the hat, which by the way the band from last year was AWESOME. Special fireworks, would be great. And if there is a special event shirt PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not make it a black shirt! It is August in Florida and it would be nice not to sweat to death in the event shirt. A ladies cut option would be nice and being able to pre-order it like for the 24 hour event would be a bonus. So what will it take you guys to buy a ticket? Does it need to be more than what was offered for Unleash the Villains at Limited Time Magic? Are you looking for more rare meet and greets, food and drinks, new firework show?
Is it safe to assume they'll be doing the special fireworks show?
I must be in the minority: I'm perfectly fine with hard ticket events, but think this one is overpriced at $67 given that it will lack a parade and other MNSSHP entertainment. Still, I'm sure with only one night, they could price tickets at $200 and there would be sufficient demand to sell it out.
Hopefully special entertainment and rare characters. I wouldn't buy the ticket straight away until i know what i'm buying into.So what will it take you guys to buy a ticket? I thought of you @WDW1974
As did I. I believe this is the post that came to mind:

I am not so sure I agree with you. In 1971, Disney World was so expensive compared to county fairs and amusement parks that my parents thought our 1972 trip would be a "once in a lifetime" event. They had such a great experience it became something to save money to do.
There has always been an ability to pay more to get more - deluxe resorts versus motels on I-Drive and 192; behind the scenes tours, Richard Petty Driving Experience, sunset savannah tour for concierge level guests at Animal Kingdom Lodge, etc. When I was a cast member in the mid-80s, closed park corporate parties were not uncommon in the offseason.
All of Disney World's offerings have never been available to everyone with a day pass.
They've wanted to do that for years. This may be the year they finally do it.
Read on twitter a suggestion that Marvel villains could be a part of this. I think it was inferred from viewing the source on disneyvillainsparty.com.
No idea whether that's actually true or even possible under the contract with universal.
That's simply not true. For most of WDW's first 25-30 years, the experience was largely the same for all guests. And talking about behind the scene tours, concierge options or a NASCAR driving experience are in no way the same as actual theme park options.
All of these hard ticket events are a relatively 21st phenomenon. There was a time, for instance, when MVMCP was a one weekend event and the Christmas entertainment went on during regular operating hours the rest of the week for day guests. They've come a long way from that ... and not at all good.
As to WDW being a once in a lifetime event, all I will say is that WDW was vastly less expensive in the 70s-90s than it has been since. It was much more affordable to vastly more people than it is today. I don't need to get @ParentsOf4 to talk about Disney's price increases versus inflation etc, do I?
