I almost cut off the video when the woman made it clear that she hates disney (or disney parks) then Staggs shows a pic of her looking happy then a pic of her happy. Anyway - the animation video is cute and I can see how novice disney fans will be excited to get this band. Children will love it. However, I am not into wearing a band all day I get a rash easily. I will be anxiously awaiting for mymagic+ to be a diaster

Very interesting and frank. I think it is awesome tech. My kids will love it as they get older (e.g. Character interactions, seeing their own dolls on IASW, etc.). Also pleased to hear Tom suggest screen technology is not the only thing we will see on new attractions.

I was happy to hear some more of the details on how they plan to use the bands. Staggs was pretty open about using the bands for crowd control and potentially opening additional meet and greets to divert crowds to less crowded parts of the parks. He is quick to talk about opting out, but admits that opting out limits your ability to use the bands. Not sure that the privacy advocates and general "haters" are going to like anything he said, but some of the enhancements do seem pretty cool. It still seems like an awful lot of cash to spend when there are a lot of other needs. I wonder if we will ever find out a true price tag for this thing.

Very interesting answers. He actually seems to have good points in some places. This is the first I've heard about the Small World dolls, too.

I wish they would've asked more questions about FPs.

The one thing that irks me a little bit is what he said about Small World...I think when you can be in a ride vehicle with others not in your party, but you will be part of someone else's sort of special moment of personalization brought on by the Magic Band, then it's a little weird...but will wait to make a real opinion until seen in action.

That was my reaction, too.

I think it would be primarily kids and/or special occasions that would have personalization. It probably won't be limited from adults, but I'm not making a doll online. There's limits to my Disney obsession;)

Same here, I was thinking my 4 year old would get a kick out of the doll thing. My husband and I not so much.

Just thought it was kind of odd (or convenient) that they used the Incredibles to promo this when Staggs could have used any number of other Disney properties, even Monsters Inc, to showcase it.

Not a lot of tech character options from Disney. Maybe Ralph would have worked or Dr D from P&F.
