Very slow loading on Apple devices

I’ve noticed recently pages and PMs can take a long time - over ten seconds- to load. Not all the time but more often than not. iPadOS and iOS 18.3.1, cellular or WiFi. @wdwmagic ?

Yep, same iOS and same problem on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Problem is an extreme amount of bot traffic hitting the forum late afternoon.

I think they are on it, site went down briefly for maintenance a bit ago.

It improved for me . But has gone back to slow loading today.

there is a lot of bot traffic flooding the site. As I shut it down it shifts to different servers and requires some tracking down again to surpress.
