Announcement Updated version of WDWMAGIC Forums now live

We've launched a new version of the WDWMAGIC forums today.

You will notice some changes, but everything functions in a similar way to before, hopefully only better.

We would love to hear any feedback, and as always, feel free to ask any questions.

It has a facebooky/twitter vibe. Seems a bit more... As the above post says, good on mobile! Kind of awkward on a desktop. But it also takes me a while to get used to change. I think it looks fine.

It feels very jumbled or compressed with the all white background on the entire page. I like how the old version had a colored box when you quoted someone else's post. I do like the larger size avatars. just offering feedback. #Thanks Shanghai!!!

This is the same way I felt in 2015 as well.

Though this one might take more time than 2015 to get used to. The similar colored backgrounds to posts and quoted posts make everything seem to mesh together. Again, maybe in a week or so I'll get used to it, but that seemed like an unnecessary change.

Everything else though works great!

Just an attempt to remove clutter. It requires a click on the avatar to see that currently.

Another thing I noticed -- is when receiving an alert there used to be a red "1" or "2" that would pop up in the tab for the page if I was on another page. I don't see that now.

Thanks for the response. Glad it is still available. I have seen many people who seemed as if they simply signed up just to cause trouble or be rude. Being able to see when they joined helps to weed them out.
