Updated. 4:38Am. Just returned from a ride out shift at Disney.

Epcot, MK, and AK will be OPEN tomorrow. As of, 4am. Crews are out cleaning up the messes, and plan on opening the parks tomorrow.

BIG DAMAGE at Cirq! The white canopy that covers the outside of the buildings entrance area is GONE! A good, 80-foot section of it, ripped right out in the winds. The area around there suffered MAJOR damage. House of Blues got hit pretty bad as well, tons of stuff all over the place.

PI. Minor issues, the Island will be open Saturday night. Though, it won't be in full swing for a couple more days.

Power outages all around 192. The power is on at Disney, and some spots on 192 have power. Others do not. Saw crews out on my drive home already working on it.

That’s all I have for ya. Luckily the house is still here and seems to have little damage. Though, I'll have to climb up on the roof to check in the morning.

Did not hear anything. The Tower was still standing, and the searchlights from the great movie ride were on. Epcot seemed to be the worst of them all, they were asking people to head over there to assit with the clean up.

How in the world will Disney have enough staff to open all four parks on time today?

You would think that they would have trouble getting everyone back today, especially those whose neighborhoods have their own damage, or power outage, or trees over roads.

I just have to say.... I honestly don't know how they run Disney parks in Florida. As a Southern Californian who spent years living on the East Coast, I'm amazed that they pull off the Disney Park experience out there in all that rain and humidity. And then, to top it off, right in the middle of summer crowds a hurricane blows through and the Parks have to close for a day.

Honestly, you should see it here in Orange County, California when we get our four or five rainy days each January/February. The news channels go on "Storm Watch" and offer updated doppler radar for the rain showers. Disneyland comes to a standstill, with many of the outdoor rides like Alice In Wonderland, Canoes, Treehouse, Columbia, StorybookLand all closing. And even some other outdoor rides like Small World and Matterhorn still run, but water sloshes around in the boats and everyone freaks out and refuses to sit on the wet seats.

Now that I'm a Disney Park fan, I'm just baffled at how they get those Parks in Florida to operate when it rains all the time on all of those customers. Amazing stuff.

AK is not opening today as of now. Nor is Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard isn't opening until 10.

Golf courses aren't open, DTD won't have bus service until this afternoon.

My local news station just showed an overhead shot of MK and the reporter said that the attendance looked pretty good. Yeah right, there was no one there! So if anyone up in Orlando wants to go to the parks, I'm sure that they'll be empty.
