So I was wondering why we haven't gotten a new Mary Poppins Trailer yet. So I went looking for information about it and found that it might be revealed this month! Disney's usual formula of releasing trailers is a 6 month period between the teaser trailer and the official trailer. There is also a 9 month period between The release date and the teaser trailer. I decided to make a list of a the trailers for Disney movies.

Mary Poppins Returns (Official Trailer): July 2018 RELEASED: September 17th, 2018! (trailer)
Captain Marvel (Teaser Trailer): end of July 2018 (Official Trailer): January 2019
GOTG3(Teaser Trailer): sometime this fall or winter (Official Trailer): beginning of spring 2019
Dumbo (Official Trailer): November 2018
Toy Story 4 (Teaser Trailer): October 2018 (Official Trailer): March 2019
Aladdin (Teaser Trailer): September 2018 (Official Trailer): February 2019
Lion King (Teaser Trailer): November 2018 (Official Trailer): April 2019
Frozen 2 (Teaser Trailer): February 2019 (Official Trailer): August 2019
Star Wars Episode 9 (Teaser Trailer) : March 2019 (Official Trailer): September 2019

This is all speculation and not official. Tell me what you think about this and if you think I am wrong.

My guess is at the very earliest, it will be in the late fall. IW is still in theaters, so I’m assuming that Disney will start the marketing push for A4 around Christmas.

As for Captain Marvel, maybe we’ll be lucky enough to get something at the end of this next month, or in early August? At the very least, a poster with the characters would be welcomed.

They just finished filming Captain Marvel a couple of days ago so I think we could get a trailer sometime this summer.

Thedisinsider on Instagram reported today on a live stream today saying that the Mary Poppins trailer just be dropping any day now, Lion king comes this fall, and Aladdin teaser should come out in front Wreck-It-Ralph.
