Universal files patent for driverless transport vehicles

No. His is mass transit between parks and resorts. This is personal rickshaws within a park and quite hilarious given how many chokepoints Uni has.
You don't think the idea is to use these in the current parks do you?
Application says dedicated pathways....

My memory is fuzzy but Disney had similar plans. The vehicles weren't intended for guests. They may still be working on the autonomous vehicles but I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

Hmmm. I just assumed it was for existing parks. Didn't even think about it being a new dedicated system for the new park! Would be great to step off a ride, push a button, and be transported directly to your next attraction with a quick stop for refreshments.

Someone in TDO must be kicking themselves that they didn’t think of this.

I don't think many of the exisiting parks have enough space to add personal transport. Epcot is the only place I could see it being really useful. I would assume if Universal are thinking of this for a park, it will be added in the build for the new park.
