Seriously though... every single USO and Disney theme park in Orlando would benefit from something in the same vein as Pirates.

Reliable, indoor, family friendly, 0 height, high capacity, entertaining.

Thinking about EPIC specifically... Burke could do a big ride like that where you are going through nature and seeing the dragons in their natural habitat. HP could also do a good ride where all the animals escape around Paris and we see various magical creatures running around iconic Parisian scenes (this one would probably be more of an omnimover system).

Yoshi could have been this... but it certainly isn't

This is what I've been saying. A no fuss, high capacity dark ride, family friendly, people eater, a system not prone to breaking down.

But also, C-tickets, D-tickets.

Monsters is not family friendly... I'm sure there are some 4 year olds that love it, but thats not the norm.

The new HP ride is rumored to be a flying broomstick ride... I just don't see how this will be great for either the young or the old.

Yep. Again, what Epic needs is a high capacity no height requirement dark ride. An indoor roller coaster that doesn't shut down in the rain wouldn't hurt. But another people eater that is also impressive that everyone can ride would help the park a lot more.

But anything else they build at Epic for the forseeable future needs to be high capacity.

High capacity OR cheap, fast, and with a small footprint... a few flat rides scattered around wouldn't hurt.

Monsters is absolutely family friendly. But if your definition of family friendly must be inclusive of toddlers, then Universal is probably the park not for you. Honestly, I don't want Universal to build family friendly rides that are suitable for toddlers. That is what Disney is for...

If they do Luigi's Mansion eventually, that should be another high (or at least decent) capacity one, in dark ride form.

When I rode Monsters, there was a family who put their little daughter, looked about 6 or so, on the ride. When we got off, she was crying and visibly upset. The seating on that ride does not allow for you to hold someones hand or even see them while seated. There are probably some kids who can do that ride though, but I felt sorry for that little girl. She just looked miserable.

It's not just about kids, there's a lot of adults and older folks who don't want to ride anything that does any type of thrilling maneuvers. These type of people have plenty to do at Disney but at Epic they can do very little. And then you have the perfect ride for parents to ride with their very small children in Yoshi - except oh, no, they can't, because it has a height requirement too.

I get that Universal's main target demographic is adults and families with kids who want some thrills. BUT, a well balanced theme park has enough activities for every visitor to fill out their day. Therefore each UOR park should have at least one all ages ride that is also good and not kid-centric.

They’ve built 2.5X lands based on exceptionally family friendly properties and haven’t really added anything accessible for a full family to do together…

Ride wise at least. The two shows are great though. Why do those exist and a family friendly dark ride can’t?

Family friendly doesn’t preclude edgy. ET, Jaws, Earthquake and Kongfrontation provided reasonably accessible pillars and none of them are free of conflict. Of course the splash battle is just lame, but all four lands could easily host a thoughtful boat dark ride. It’s weird none do.

fun for all families indoors and gives them a chance to make a new IP for the park to sell merch like how Figment is for EPCOT

No, every ride in every park should be a joyful celebration on a new holiday where everything is happy and wonderful and there are no problems anywhere and if there are, they're probably going to be solved quickly and easily.

Oh boy! Here is an inconspicious tour/fairly normal event through Jurassic Park/Quiddach Match/Gru's Lab/Garage/World's Fair Exhibit/Theme Park/Daily Bugle News Tour/The Mummy's set/etc (seriously this is the plot to most Universal rides period). Better get your swaggy SAFETY GOGGLES ON and meet up at the station to start your tour... OH NO! Something has interrupted the tour! Don't worry! *Insert protagonist* will save you! Ending off with of course

YES - a flat spinner here would be perfect. I originally kept thinking Celestial Park, but attached to DK could really dumb down what the attraction would be, so while NOT some marvel of engineering...it still would serve a HUGE purpose in this park. Bonus points if it's covered like the TSL flatride.

Putting something into that left circle would require providing similar access elsewhere.

There are so many expansion ideas for this park. The good news is they are actively expanding now and not just sitting on ideas.

There aren’t a lot of pads. Doing so much now does complicate the future.

Epic Universe has 6 expansion pads that can be considered as 7 expansion pads. I don't know where 6 or 7 expansion pads isn't considered a decent amount.

There is one expansion pad that can be consider as 2 expansion pads. I am referring to a 20 acre expansion pad. I don't see a single IP take up 20 acres that Universal can use.

Also Isle of Berk's expansion pad doesn't have any plans yet. It doesn't like Super Nintendo World's 7 acre expansion pad isn't being use yet either since Universal canceled the permit.

Only 3 of those 6 or 7 expansion pads have been listed for permits currently. The only permits listed currently is Potter expansion pad, Dark Universe expansion pad, and the expansion pad that is going to used for a building that I think normal theme park goers will have access to.
