Umbrella Rental at Blizzard Beach

Looking for feedback on umbrella rentals.
We will be taking advantage of the free waterpark entry on July 31st at Blizzard Beach. It will be me and 10 year old daughter. Neither of us are super adventurous and I’m guessing we will spend a few hours there. We will be using the wave pool, lazy river and probably do the family raft ride. We will likely get lunch/ snacks as well. Mainly just going to check it out as I have never been.
Do you think an umbrella rental would be beneficial? To give us a shady place to sit and maybe eat lunch there? Or not worth it for the shorter day? Cost for the day is $116 with tax.

Not necessarily. Much of the waterpark is shaded, and plenty of chairs and loungers are in the shade (don't panic if you don't see a chair near the front of the park, the seating areas continue all the way to the back where it gets more private and still shady). Disney waterparks are a different breed of waterpark than any other, It isn't a concrete jungle in the sun. They cover the park well with both live and artificial trees. they use architecture and buildings to aid in shading. They spray some of the sidewalks with water to help with burning feet, however, you may want to wear water shoes/socks to protect your feet. They have covered dining areas also if you want to sit at the tables to eat and cool down. Much of the lazy river is shaded too, so you will probably end up in the lazy river more than at the chair/umbrella. Blizzard beach is my all time favorite waterpark. We were just there and the park was near empty on a Monday, so we had all the chairs we could want upfront.
