That to me is sad. At one time the ride being enjoyable and amazing trumped queue theming and canopy lighting. Big Thunder Mountain is still the best coaster in the park.
It's more inclusive, better themed and is more impressive. This is too short and not well themed.

I dunno…I see a lot of similarities with Space Mtn.
I do have to smile at those moments. Very much like the Cosmic Rewind reveal. At first, when it's new, everyone is "wow." Then when the newness wears off the effect becomes "yeah., it's a fast moving wall."

I don't find that good either. Very rough and little theming on the ride.
If I'm riding a Disney coaster I want it well themed. Otherwise make it long or intense.
It's the biggest tent structure Tomorrowland has ever had.
And under Iger, that is saying something!

The previews today have not had the best audio since there was a temporary DJ set up as this was marketed as a "preview party," but to my untrained ear the actual area loop (which can be heard much better near the test seats and queue entrance) seems to be tracks directly lifted from the Tron Legacy soundtrack.

I’m just happy to see some more TRON representation, as someone who thinks TRON Legacy is very under appreciated. Definitely a fan of the franchise and seeing this is cool. Excited to try this out soon, if I can muster up enough courage to get on a lightcycle.
And only more than 45 years apart, more resources and right next to it.

As a fat man, walking in shame from a test seat in view of hundreds is not really any less embarrassing than walking in shame from the ride where only the people next to you can see you.

That’s a good point. At FoP, until Covid, they gave people too fat to ride several paper anytime Multiple Experience FastPasses. Not sure those exist anymore.
A test seat doesn’t help if you have to buy before you even get back there. I think the make good will have to be a refund-and-something.
7DMT isn’t very accommodating to thick-thighed individuals either. I wonder if Disney might consider just hiring a fat guy to test their test vehicles during development. That’s 3 major rides in a decade that aren’t particularly good for various body shapes (and with no good reason on FoP)
