Town Square Exposition Hall closing on April 2 2010

Do we know what M&Gs are going in this area? What happens to the princesses and the fairies in the mean time as well. Fantasy Forest is not going to be ready yet for quite sometime and Pixie Hollow is... well, we don't even know what's going on with that!

Is there even room for all these M&Gs and their queues in this space? I honestly have no idea!?!

I could be wrong but I think I heard rumor that the M&G in question is Mickey and Minnie. Someone had it up on their latest trip review that they had begun construction on M & M's new homes there. :shrug:

Yes the M&G are indeed for Mickey and Minnie. Dont look for recreation of the homes though.

Too bad. I will miss the ability to get away from the crowds back there. A lot of people didn't know it existed. Even at the busiest times you could get some pace, quiet, and AC there.

It's all for the best though.

Ah I see. I had the image of not the same homes that currently are in TTF, but smaller to fit in the space allotted. It will be interesting to see what they do.

So the Town Square Exposition Hall is closing on April 2 2010. I am having a hard time picturing or understand where inside the Expo Hall the M&Gs will go. I have heard in the front, outside in the courtyard. I have even heard one of the old WD Story Theaters would be renovated to include space for the M&G. Since the closure is getting closer now, any more word on exactly what's happening here? Will this area turn into a Victoria Turn of the Century version of the EPCOT Character Spot?

.....as for the Storytime Experience, I thought that was going to DHS in the theater at the end of the WD Exhibit.

They will be using both of the the theaters for the new space.

So I assume the princesses and fairies will slowly move out as their new homes open up? I really hope we get to see Mickey and Friends in a turn of the century version of the EPCOT Character Spot. That mega meet-n-greet is a great set up in my opinion.
