I found out, through various sources, that old Magic Bands still work for getting into the parks. And I'd found my old grey band from when I first got my annual pass.
So I decided, "I should paint this!"
This is the result of three days of painting and repainting, of mistakes and setbacks.
The Mickey head over the RFID chip was painted to look like that one Tower of Terror pin, but instead of lightning on the ears, I painted my initials.
The "T" and "Z" were sketched on with pencil before I used a leatherworking awl to apply paint.
For the Hollywood Tower Hotel logo, I again sketched it (poorly) with pencil before applying paint with the same awl.
And the part of the band that is always hidden, I painted to have a field of stars because of the Twilight Zone intro and the hallway scene.
