Top of the World Bar at Bay Lake Tower

Hello everyone, quick question:

Can anyone go hang out at the Top of the World bar at BLT, or do you have to be a vacation club member or resort guest? If so, can you go up to California Grill just for a drink? I've been for dinner before, and I remember having to be escorted by a cast member in a private elevator. Seems like it would be difficult.

I have tried to get up to that lounge myself and from what the CM told me you not only have to be a Vacation Club member but you have to be staying there at the time and make a reservation. Hope this helps:wave:

Top of the World Lounge is only available to vacation club members staying on points, and their guests. You can go California Grill for drinks though.

You can go up there with a DVC member but you can not even get into the building unless you are staying there or go in with someone who is.

We paid to stay at BLT (not DVC members) and we couldn't get up there. Lame.
