seem like a huge space just for a meet and greet they must be expecting loads of people then ???:king:

Can you imagine, who wouldn't want to meet Tinker Bell, she has never been out before, I would think that the line would be tremendous.

Here's my little fantasy: Tear down the whole building, and rebuild Horizons there! Oh, yeah! Carousel of Progress right next door! It's perfect! Maybe combine them into one building, make a whole Carousel/Horizons pavilion. Sigh...

Although, a table service restaurant would be very welcome in Tomorrowland. The Magic Kingdom could certainly use another one.

You think so? I think they have plenty of table service. Five is enough for me (I've never even eaten at one).

Maybe they should transplant one to Animal Kingdom.

Tomorrowland has a very prominent restaurant as it is. It feels like it's the largest restaurant on property.

Since they introduced the new Disney Dining Plan for Magic Your Way, all of the restaurants throughout Walt Disney World have been packed to the hilt. That's why they did a test of El Pirata y el Perico as a table-service restaurant a few months ago. And, personally, there aren't any of the current Magic Kingdom table-service restaurants that I'm all that excited about like I am for some of them at Epcot and Disney/MGM Studios. One in Tomorrowland would certainly pique my interest.

As for Animal Kingdom, they don't have any table-service because the park never stays open late enough to justify it. The exception is Rainforest Cafe, of course, but it is outside of the park so that people can still enjoy it after the park closes.

i like the idea of a restaurant going in there. It would be cool if they could make the hole where the cable cars used come out of a big window so that you could look over the whole of tomorrowland, and it could be a futuristic spaceship looking thing inside,That would look awesome at night, all neon lights in greens and blues, they could maybe even make it look like it was a hovering UFO out side by haveing lights pulsing in a to make it look like its rotating.
just an idea.
OR
a bit of a radical idea but make another transport around tomorrowland only its not just any ordinary transport ride, the cars could be like a mobile diner table and you eat your meal whilst hearing a load of info and history(made up of course, well some of it)about tomorrowland....actually i dont think that the mobile diner tables will work.....er.....scrap it. it be back with another idea give me a minute.

From the crazy blue sky plans I have heard of it is either gonna be used as a queue for the new rocket rods (replacing the TTA) using a bridge extending to the TTA track or its getting demolished since that space will be needed for part of the Incredibles ride. I swear I didnt make these rumors up.

Were all the cable cars removed from the building (it used to store them) eventually?

The cars are in there and will be untill 10 years after the accident that had it closed. The car the cast member fell from is in there. I dared my friend to touch it but she didn't want to so I pushed her in to it. It has red tape aroudn it that says do not remove.

Engineering uses it for some spare pieces to TTA... The cars are there and the rumor has it that they took off the part they used to take them off before they took them out of the building and rather than spend the money jsut keep them there...
