Well what can I say about Pecos Bills, I really thought they used to have a single meat burger but its not on the menu. Did the bacon dbl cheeseburger and you know me and meat.... I gave my hubby the nother piece so he had a triple burger. But it was good and the bun actually stayed together this time. Then did some park time it was absolutely packed to the nines 45-55 minute waits everywhere. No rain though so perfect cloudy day...

Liberty Tree tavern...

While I really did not want to report this one as it just isn't any much good. Very Industrial bland food. The gravy was horrible and ruined our dressing which was box mix for sure. Waiter not so good we were his only table in another room and very seldom saw him...I think we will pass on this one again. I might try it in the future if there is nothing else but i think I can eat better tasting food else where for my money. Let me say this Texans make a mean cornbread dressing and I think I will stick to home stle at home and leave this type to Disney..Tomorrow 50's Prime and not so sure for lunch. Not much there to eat CS.

Thanks for the update! I'm a little bummed to hear that LTT was not a good experience because we have ressies in Feb (last time we went was Jan 2008 and it was great).

Sorry to hear of your bad experience at LTT but we had a similar experience in Oct 08. Very bland, frozen food. Maybe we're just spoiled by my mother's excellent chestnut stuffing but it was just barely edible to us. And we really aren't very picky eaters. Most of it came out barely warm/luke-warm and just was not appetizing. The characters (still there at that time) almost made up for it, but we had a late seating and you could tell they rushed through.

I don't get why they only seem to offer double cheeseburgers either. I am much happier with a single burger. At least your hubby got some extra meat then!

You can order single cheeseburgers, they just aren't on the menu. Typical upsell- it's annoying.

We at ate LTT last week and had a great time. Food was good and hot and the service was stellar and the restaurant was packed. Will definitely do it again. It was good with characters but we enjoyed it more without them.

Yeah, at best it's listed on the menu in much smaller print under "additional items".

Another tip that most people aren't aware of (and isn't advertised ANYWHERE on the menu boards) is that you can "un-combo" your meal and get it without fries. Most often they give you a ton of fries per order, so if you have two people ordering, get one of them with and one without fries. Then just share what you get with the one combo. You'll save a couple dollars. (Or if you're solo and not hungry enough for the fries)

My biggest frustration with the single burger being removed from the menu is that I can no longer use the electronic ordering kiosk. I prefer those as they tend to go faster and I know just what i want, and it's usually the single cheeseburger. When they pulled it off the menu board, they also pulled it off the kiosk so you can't order it there any longer, you need to get into the other line just because I want that item.

Sorry to hear about your experience at LTT.. I hope they improve things by the time Crystal Palace closes for refurb, as LTT is kind of acting as the MK character meal replacement during that time.

Is this typical at other counter service places?

LLT is a nice place to eat Stofflers Frozen Foods...that's why we will never go back. Why would I want a frozen TV diner at Disney?

NO, Stoffers is actrually better than LTT food. It was just not good. Bland as the hills, the gravy ruined our dressing what little there was to ruin. If our family had to go to another relatives house for Thanksgiving and eat that type of food we would graciously bow out. For the price they charge its in dire need of some revamping. I did not see anyone in that little room we were in ask for more food. It was in tiny dishes for 2 to begin with. But enough for us to find out we just didn't like it. When he brought our dessert it was the apple crisp and ice cream. He brought about a cup of the apple crisp and no kidding a half of scoop of ice cream. We showed the other waitress, the good one in the room and she said oh my that's not even enough for one. She brought another scoop and half. Enough said I do not have to go back and never will so anyone needing a space can have ours. I do not want a blasting here I am just stating our review and if you like it then great. It may be what you are used to where you live but us here in the south don't even get it that bad at local restaurants.

Just had lunch at LTT a week ago and the food was quite tasty. Nothing special, but it never was. $14.99 for a turkey dinner another $5.49 for a salad ... not cheap (that would be the $10.99 Christmas Dinner at Voyager at Sea World), but not crazy by WDW standards.

The beef pot roast, chowder and chicken salads are also very good.

I wouldn't do dinnere there. I don't like all you can eat ... and I don't like characters (even if they're gone now).

I like a menu.

A tip if you go for lunch is they have amazing roles and honey-butter, but you'd never know it unless you ask for it. They stopped bringing them to the table in a money-saving/grubbing move a few years ago.

Clearly, most folks have no clue.

We asked for them when no one had any ... within 10 minutes EVERY table in our room had done likewise.

As to Pecos Bill, I'd stop by Wendy's for a 99 cent burger before I'd eat there but I realize some folks want to spend all their time and money at WDW. But as others have said you can absolutely order single burgers and burgers without fries for less $$$. Much like the rolls, they just don't tell you because they want you to order an $8 (is it more?) bacon double cheeseburger basket.

I ate at Pecos Bills for the first time last week, and to be honest, I thought the burger from POR food court was better. Granted, POR doesn't have the fixings bar, but I'd rather taste the burger than fried onions & cheese. I'm sure the beef probably all comes from the same supplier, but at least at POR, they fried it when I ordered it, and it wasn't sitting in a warming drawer. And I am a bit of a beef snob in that I raise my own cattle, and can tell the difference between good hamburger and ground chuck.

Not going to blast you, but I will say give LTT a second chance.

Food is one thing I can be critical about. Any I hold back when I see reviews that say things like "The S'mores at 50;s prime time are soooooooooooooo yummy" - They are bargin marshmallows over stale ghram crackers with chocolate sauce on them. If you like an overly sweet pile of candy for dessert, then so be it. Anyway, thats just to demonstrate that I am not one of the "If I can shovel enought in to go into a food coma, then thats good eatin'" crowd.

I have eaten at LTT a number of times. It's not fine dining by any stretch, but the food is at least decent. Maybe you were there on an off night. It's not re-heated frozen food, but is made from scratch - as scratch as you can get from a Sysco shipment - but thats par for the course in the average restaruant.

For solid, decent, food I still recommend LTT over the likes of Tony's or Ohana among others.

Nope not even a second chance. Even so they cannot make it better like we are used to not even close. It was down right cheaply made and flavorless. My husband rarely complains about taste of foods. Even he left the food. It just is not what you think it could taste like. I have thought about this long and hard and there are way,,,, better places to go than there and this is my opinion. I do not have to go back and give it a second try. I have never eaten at Tonys and probably won't try that either. O'Hanas had 3 trys and still no go again for us. Nor Boma 3 trys and its out. Just not good food and as I said hubby eats duck and game animals and if he didn't like these places then it's not worth a dinner again. Next time we wil go with CS meals and not worry about any of it.

Eh, to each their own.

I still think LTT is decent for what it is. I don't rave about it, but in my opinion it make not pretenses about being fine dining.

I eat game myself, but I don't really see how that ties into what LTT serves. They server farm raised turkey, which is about as far from wild turkey as you can get. Now, I have some pheasant in the freezer that I will put up against LTT turkey any day (Dredged, sautéed in butter, a little white wine, lemon and capers. Thicken with a little flour, monte a burre to finish - some roasted tomatoes, and maybe pan fry some diced potatoes with rosemary - mmmmm now I am hungry)
