Does Disney not want to "own" or "present" things anymore?

I apologize in advance if this topic has been brought up already...

I've noticed where Disney appears to be turning its back on "ownership" of its properties: namely, dropping the "apostrophe S" in everything it owns or the "presents" titles. It's awkward, it's grammatically incorrect, and it's just plain lazy. What's going on? Do you think it does not want to "own" anything anymore?
