Tips for booking for the first time with young children?

I have been before but not for many years & this is the first time with little ones in tow - any top tips before we book?!

I just read that the AK parade is ending some time in June this year? Bummer, because that was the parade we were counting on seeing. Does that only leave the MK Fantasy Somethingorother parade for daytime viewing?

Here are two suggestions...rent a stroller, Apple Stroller has great doubles that are better and cheaper than the ones at the park and they will be delivered to your hotel by the time you arrive.
On the plane pack a bag of dollar store goodies to keep em busy, whip one out every 20mins.
