It looks like there are bus stops in each area of the resort so I decided to request closest to restaurants, so my husband hopefully won't have as far to walk for morning coffee and because we will probably have breakfast there a time or two and maybe a lunch. What are your thoughts? Was this a wise move?

We were in a preferred room in Martinique in 2013...it was REALLY close to the bus stop....but a good walk to the main pool and food court IMHO. I think your plan is a good idea;)

We are in a standard( there were no preferred with free dining when we booked) and I want close to the restaurants. Maybe my plan isn't so great after all?

I wonder if a standard in one of those sections would still be closer to the food court than a standard in either Jamaica or Aruba would be. Any thoughts?

What is the best non preferred/standard room if you want to be close to food and pool because you will be driving to the parks?

Our favorite is Jamaica (standard) number 45. Nice view on the not to far walk across to Old Port Royale (8 mins), and the bus stop (3 mins) being on the other side of 46 near Victory Way.

We just did online check in this morning for our arrival at CBR in 60 days. We requested Aruba with a lower floor. We'll be happy with either Aruba or Jamaica.

Anyone know how the buses run in order of pick up at the resort? Do they enter for the main entrance on Buena Vista drive and go clock wise around the resort?

All of Trinidad North and the three buildings in Martinique closest to the food court are Preferred rooms.

you are right, Rob. All of the buildings in those two areas are preferred only. I called my travel agent and made her aware. It's odd that when she called Disney last week and requested one these areas the CM didn't catch this. She is calling them back in the morning. Thanks for the heads up.

It varied, but If I recall Jamaica to Trinidad or Martinique to Barbados were the usual drop off routes. Hope this helps.

Exactly this.

That said, Martinique. Trini South is the worst section of the hotel (as in it's the worst in the bus line, and it's the furthest from Port Royale. That's why they put all the pirate rooms there, to get guests to want to stay there. If you really want a Pirate Room, great, do Trini South (you'll still have fun), but otherwise, I'd avoid it.

Only the three buildings closest to Port Royale in Martinique are preferred. The other three are not preferred. Here, this should help.

Martinitque 24/25/26 and Trini N. 31/32/33 are all Preferred.
