OKW. Just look at those well-themed trash cans. So immersive, so magical.

I didn’t take very many notes, and I have a pretty horrible memory(must’ve bumped my head on too many things), but I will try to recall as much as I can!

Day two continued.

You’ll have to forgive the lack of photos from this evening. We were moving fast. After SSE we did mission space. It was now 9 pm and the extra evening hours for deluxe guests had begun. Our first ride was soarin followed by another round of SSE.

Has the star field always been here at the beginning? Have I ever even been on this attraction?

After SSE we swam upstream against the post fireworks mass exodus towards ratatouille. We waited around 20 minutes and made some new friends in line.

We then walked all the way back around the lagoon for one final ride on frozen.

The extended hours at Epcot aren’t quite as productive as MK because everything is so spread out. We probably spent 30 minutes just walking between attractions. Having said that, soarin-SSE-Rat-Frozen isn’t a terrible haul. If we really pushed it we could’ve probably gotten in one more attraction, but we were tired and didn’t really care that much.

The park had really emptied out and we enjoyed a peaceful walk to the exit.

Day three - May 3, 2022

MK closed at 4:30 PM this day. Nobody who saved up to go on a once in a lifetime or once every few years vacation would waste a day ticket to MK when there’s no fireworks or nighttime shenanigans, right? That’s what we were banking on!

Early entry started at 8:30. Much easier to make than the 7 AM at DAK the day before! We had another lucky morning with the busses and were standing on Main Street at 7:59.

We joined the smaller mass of people at the entrance to Tomorrowland.

They opened the land at 8:24. We were here at 8:26.

They held us in the que for just a few minutes before opening the ride. We were off before 8:30

Ride number two was appropriately Pooh.

Ride number three during early entry. Great queue, ok ride.

After waving goodbye to Ariel it was time for our first ride during regular hours. It timed up perfectly and we entered the queue for HM just as they opened it. Props to the CM working the merge point who made a blood on the saddle reference when she saw my Big Al shirt!

We stopped here for a minute.

After we started moving the Madame Leota head disappeared and and her audio went silent. The bride was also down for the count in the attic scene. The music was playing, but no other audio played. It was odd.

We continued making our way into the park towards Frontierland. I saw my cousin Al hanging around and stopped for a quick photo.

So what you’re saying is you were in the park that same night, and probably walked right by us and didn’t say hi? 😉
I bet we did walk right by each other! 🤣 Looks like you made the right choice going to MK this morning. I wondered why the MK would close so early and then I heard that they closed it for a Cast Member party that night. Not sure if it was true but it would make sense. Glad you accomplished so much before they opened to the general public.

Day 3 continued.

I forgot our ride photos from HM actually did show up. Not nailing it.

There’s a new photopass frame too.

Back to Frontierland. We risked getting wet for a walk-on ride on splash. Of course they put us in the front row as punishment.

What better way to dry off than taking the wildest ride in the wilderness!

The wait time was posted at 30 minutes. But as @BwlrBry212 can attest, the wait times are all made up. We waited a whopping five minutes.

Time to head towards the land of adventure.

It was 10:30 AM and we were quickly running through all of the major attractions. Pirates had a 40 minute posted wait with people spilling out into the walkway. Turns out the people in the walkway were just genie+ users being confused. We walked directly to the load area.

This scene is very confusing. Why are they auctioning off poultry in the middle of a pirate attack?

We got stuck here for a bit waiting to unload. It may be the first half decent dark ride picture I’ve ever taken.

It was for a CM party where they ran the fireworks show that we all deserve for the 50th.

Totally agree. Used to be my favorite scene.

My current favorite scene! I have an old postcard from WDW of this, I love it!

Awesome pics. I can't wait to see SSE lit up. Hopes it looks as good as in the pics.
