I didn’t take very many notes, and I have a pretty horrible memory(must’ve bumped my head on too many things), but I will try to recall as much as I can!

I'm even more excited to eat at Sebastian's after seeing your food pics!! Looks delicious and I am counting on the bread pudding being better than 'Ohana's because I couldn't get an ADR there and Brian and the kids love that bread pudding!
As long as they don’t let their emotions get in the way of their brains, they won’t be disappointed!

Day one continued.

We grabbed a ride on living with the land, then walked a little bit of WS.
View attachment 638397

Apparently we made it at least to France.

Trying to pretend the lagoon is still nice. Notice the clouds rolling in. Storms were brewing all around.View attachment 638400

We had dinner plans at Sebastian’s Bistro and didn’t really want to hassle with the busses if they closed the skyliner for weather. We opted to leave for dinner a little early instead.

We got off at riviera. I think we hung out at primo piatto for a while. The walk to the main lobby area at CBR feels shorter from riviera than the CBR station.
View attachment 638401

We eventually made it to CBR just in time for a huge thunderstorm to hit. We waited it out in the lobby as our ADR time crept closer and closer. Fortunately the rain had died down quite a bit just before our table was ready, and we made it inside relatively dry. Dinner was very good. This has become a regular stop for us!

Rolls good.
View attachment 638402

Chicken good, Mojo pork good, steak good.
View attachment 638403

Pineapple coconut bread pudding. That’s all that really needs to be said right? This is better than the Ohana bread pudding, seriously.
View attachment 638404

After dinner we thought we might try to get in the rise of the resistance line right before park closing. As expected the ride broke down right as we entered the front gate. We settled for a night ride on slinky instead.
View attachment 638406

We waited around 20 minutes.
View attachment 638405

I’d show our ride photo, but it never showed up. We headed for the exit to grab a shockingly uncrowded bus. We had gotten our room ready text earlier in the day but hadn’t bothered to check the room number. It was quite a surprise to see the exact same room number we had on our last trip! Really not a bad room at all.
View attachment 638409

We quickly unpacked, showered, and got ready for another early morning.

You need to play that number!

Day 2.

It was AK day. Early entry started at 7 am and I knew if we could make it that early we’d be treated to several hours of an empty DAK. The 5:30 alarm was brutal, but we made it to the bus stop a little after 6. We were through the gates at 6:45.

If you’ve followed any of our previous trips you may remember that neither of us are big fans of flight of passage. So this is my favorite part of the entire land.

Are they allowing you to wait for front or back row EE again?

I love A’s expression. “Oh a dinosaur? Not impressed.”
I get that expression from her quite often! 🤣

Are they allowing you to wait for front or back row EE again?
I believe as long as it’s not super busy they will let you. They did let us wait for the back one time in December. This time there were only two other parties in the entire station, so the CM just let us pick wherever we wanted to sit.

Day two continued.

The safari was supposed to open at 8:30 that morning and it was getting close to that time. We made our way back over to Africa. We arrived to a CM telling everyone the safari was closed due to “technical difficulties”. I’m not really sure what that means, but either way it wasn’t open. We decided to check out gorilla falls instead.

Day two continued.

As we left gorilla falls trail I could hear the sounds of the safari vehicles. They had just opened the attraction! We lucked out and were on our tour in less than five minutes.

After our safari it was time to catch the train at Harambe station for rafikis planet watch. A really enjoys doing the animation experience. I also participate.

Day two continued.

Lunch was at Sanaa. We took a bus and arrived with a little bit of time before we could check in. We grabbed some rocking chairs in the shade and watched the animals for a little while.

We were itching for some pool time so we took the first bus that showed up(DHS) then transferred to OKW after waiting on the drivers to change shifts. We did get the coveted #shirleystatus on the way to OKW.

Our room was very close to the turtle pond pool. It was pretty crowded, but we managed to find a few chairs. It was a pleasant afternoon until a family showed up with about 9 kids and made way too much noise.

Day two continued.

We relaxed and napped in our room during the hottest part of the day. I made us a last minute dinner reservation for cape may that evening. Eventually it was time for us to get back out.

We arrived at Epcot with some time to kill before dinner.

We left the park through IG for dinner. In another strange case of deja vú, we were seated at the same table as our last meal at cape May. We jokingly talked about how odd it was that things kept repeating. It got even stranger when Brabe, our waitress from our last trip showed up to take drink orders. She remembered us from our last visit and was very kind. She did a great job!

I don’t have many food pictures, but here’s all you need to see. Oreo bon-bons! Almost worth the price all by themselves!

That was quite the early start for AK but so worth it with all that you accomplished there! I've never eaten at Sanaa but everyone does rave about the bread there and I'm a fan of the zebra domes too! Pool time and quiet time in the room is essential when visiting during the hot months! We get the same table and server often at the table service restaurants too! Epcot is so beautiful at night!
