Tacky or not, I'm just glad Mickey is at least getting some sort of exposure outside of the theme park world in this day & age.

We hired a "mouse character" one year for my daughter and niece's combined party. It was so far past horrible that it's funny now. Kids were screaming, my niece cried hysterically, he spoke with a deep voice, and he removed his head before getting into the car to leave.

Good times....

I realize that the cheap looking Mickey is a joke to us all. What I don't understand is the fact that no one here seems to be concerned about the guy wearing the pink bow tie and vest. The mouse I could live with as long as the costume remains on. The guy on the left? There's no escaping that reality.

hmm, not sure i'd let him near my kids (if i had any!). maybe he wanted be a 'friend' of the characters at disney but had to settle for mickeys evil drunk brother instead.
