Third Party vendor using AI art in onstage venues

AI art is thriving at third party food venues at Coronado Springs. Just a small sampling here, but every piece of signage and menus in cafe rix, rix sports bar, and el Mercado has been replaced with AI signage. It is very noticeable and makes the offerings feel cheap and low quality.

Ironic and sad at the same time.

I realize these are third party locations, but….

This is a multi billion dollar Company, which made its name famous by genuine artistic creativity.
And today they can’t afford to pay an actual artist to do simple resturant signage….?

There used to be an official department for this within the Company and on Property some years ago.
There was a real effort to create unique, whimsical, and perfectly themed signage.

Hoping this is just temporary…

Nothing turns me off from a food joint faster than an AI photo. It comes across deceitful; you want something that looks like it could be a real image of your food (so not a little cartoon burger or similar that's obviously not what it looks like) but can't get an actual image that shows me what it really looks like? Lazy and cheap, oooooor does the food actually look like crap? I have too many options to take that chance.

This is the same group that operates the restaurants at the Mexico pavilion so I’m wondering if the AI slop has infiltrated there too

Every AI sign uses the same font, same format, and unrealistic photos of the food. I saw another one posted somewhere from CSR where the food barely looked like food.

It's sloppy and lazy, and hopefully they're removed asp.

I guess I just don't get it, but clearly it bothers people for whatever reason. Still just looks like a sign to me.

Quality - not AI or not is the metric

Anyone trying to hold the line against AI is going to be pushed aside. What matters is the quality of the output being good enough or not. That determination and decision is on the shoulder of the humans who said 'go with it' after seeing the output... from a human or computer.
