The one in Disneyland was 1. Original to Tomorrowland, and the only attraction left from the original tomorrowland, and 2. is longer and better than the one in WDW. Yet, the one in WDW is a thrill to those who cannot legally drive. The height requirement is not to drive, but to drive alone. It's supposed to be "Racing into the future" and that is how it fits in.My vote is for the Tomorrowland Speedway at MK. My reasons: pollution, noise, slow loading, 52 inch height requirement to drive. Small children can't budge the steering wheel.
The attraction's theming has nothing to do with Tomorrowland. What does a bunch of smelly, slow moving go-carts have to do with the future?
There are 3 or 4 go-cart places near my house that do a better job, which should be embarrassing to WDW.
It's got a large foorprint in a prime location. Just imagine what they could build there instead!
It will also be forever known as the location where 1. My dad insisted on riding with me, even though I was 14 years old and did not need adult supervision. 2. He took forever to get out of the car and 3. He tripped and busted his knee open, and then tried to tell my mother that I pushed him. Which she didn't believe because she saw that I got in second and therefore out first. He still has the scar and calls it the evil ride now.
