The Worst Disney World Ride

Imagination is the worst ride I have ever ridden anywhere.

It really is! A few years back when my girlfriend and I rode it we thought it was a complete joke. I mean we were really were in shock of how bad it was. Other than the mirror effect of figment the ride is totally worthless and pathetic. They really should close it down and save TDO some integrity. I would be ashamed to be an imagineer that refurbed it back when. Does anyone know what the budget was on the refurb? Couldn't have been more than 20,000 grand. Anyone got a match? lol. Since that's all it takes now.

Narnia. :fork: They need to pull the plug on this walk-through piece of trash. The one and only time that I experienced it, we waited 45 minutes to get in and when I realized that the "preshow" was the actual attraction, I was fit to be tied. I enjoyed the Narnia films but now that Disney has gotten out of the Narnia business this space could be better used.

I understand where you're coming from, believe me i do. But Imagination has a troubled past. They lost Dreamfinder and the real magic of the great original version when Kodak's sponsership contract stated they had to update the ride by 2000. The second version was utterly terrible, barely any Figment at all. Fans were so dissatisfied that they rehauled the attraction only 2 years after they had changed the original. With this in mind they huried a new version, and after already spending money 2 years prior Disney really didn't want to cough up a large amount of money for the third version. The current version is lackluster but better than version 2. The whole pavilion should get an update very soon. I'd love to see maybe a newer, better planned version of the ride with the second floor opened up again. Worst ride in my opinion, Sounds Dangerous or Finding Nemo the Musical. I find Nemo to be overused and that musical was just terrible.

If you are referring to Attractions and not rides then its Narnia, since the op said ride my vote is for Journey into Imagination. It looks like they had a budget of about 35k and most of the money was spent on the speakers and TV's. The ride is pathetic and lacks any imagination. My favorite part is the end before they put the lights on. Seeing the light come through the concrete is cool effect.

STITCH I have never been on a ride where I was crushed spit at and totally amazed at how someone could invent such a stupid stupid stupid ride or whatever you want to call it.

For those of you who have mentioned It's A Small World I only have one thing to say. This means war :ROFLOL:

Sorry dude, I'm 19 years old and have been to Disney World about 17-18 times and it even annoyed me when I was a kid. The constant singing of "It's a Small World After All" just gives me a headache. There are usually about 15 of us in the family that go and the past 4-5 times I have skipped out on the ride strictly because it's awful. I know it's like one of the biggest pieces of history in Disney, but I can't take it anymore lol

Hard to say there is an absolute worst, but I think the Backlot tour is very disappointing. I'd throw Maelstrom in there as well...

Maelstrom in my opinion is a wonderful ride love how detailed it is, and though childish has a nice way of presenting things along the rides journey.

Got to be Conservation Station, including the train ride. Then again all non American Adventure attractions in World Showcase are pretty lame at tghis point too.

Perhaps you have to be an American to think this way, we found the "American Adventure" really boring, will never do it again. Maelstrom is perhaps only a small ride but it's neat and beautiful and we did it about 10 times during our last stay. Gran Fiesta Tour is not as good as Maelstrom but still more interesting than "American Adventure".

But you are right about the incredible unspectacular train to Conservation Station, really boring beyond belief and a good reason to skip conservation station and it's several mildly interesting minor features as a whole if you have to wait for the train. To build such an underwhelming train ride as the only way to get a less-than-stellar, actually disappointing, land like CS was one of the many major failures of WDI in the last 20 years, another one being the terrible "Magic Carpets" that screw up Adventurelands central plaza completely and don't fit in the theming at all. I HATE them. The worst single mistake of WDI in MK.

Must have been a shoestring budget, probably some money that was originally planned to be used on a new restroom area in TL? Although that must have been still to much. Hell, I payed more for my new living room than they must have invested in this extremely poor executed excuse for a ride. Boring, cheap and annoying (I could have killed Figment near the end of the tour)

Tomorrowland Speedway.

Totally agreeing with you. Absolutely abysmal waste of space and money in an less-than-perfect Tomorrowland. Noisy and smelly and terribly outdated. I mean WHAT exactly is today, in the 21st century, so "TOMORROW" about a motorway? I wasn't even interested in doing it as a young child in the early eighties.

Since Stich has been mentioned 50 billion times. I got a new one. Worst ride in Disney has to be the Primeval Whirl. You wanna be tossed around like a rag doll and come out with bruises and possible broken bones might I suggest this ride. I feel Dinoland USA is a waste of space and I think the Imagineers dropped the ball on this one. I think Walt would be dissapointed on this one as well.

Well the entire chester and hester county fair area is nothing than a cheap stand-in for the rides that are still to come (haha..) or were originally planned in this area and then scrapped, just like the entire Beastly Kingdomme which became the incredibly underwhelming Camp MM instead, or downsized/mutilated like Kali River Rapids or the Excavation Site that originally was planned to include a major rollercoaster.
