Per Bloomberg, Vanguard (#1 institutional shareholder) is voting for Disney's management.

Guys, I think this is over.
The final percentages are the story…and what the board does next?

I personally didn’t think Peltz would get this far…he’s not a “cure”…he’s a symptom
Of the infection

I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean that Iger would feel good seeing them around rather than the company thinking employees would vote for the company slate if they were encouraged to vote?
Sometimes the dumbest reason turns out to be true
Though I doubt management had much of a hand in it

The board fired a PR Firm
To whip votes…as did Peltz

Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if Peltz got at least a third of the vote. The board's gotta do some serious self-reflection after tomorrow.
If he gets 33%…that will require a response due to alot of shares being pulled.

But all they have to do is get this Nike clown behind a mic and say they’re sticking to the plan

This is claimed to allegedly be in multiple Disney parks venues. A confident company does not do this.

I’ve been binging Sherlock on Hulu and I’ve seen a half dozen “vote Disney” ads over the last week. Hulu itself doesn’t seems a very odd place to solicit votes, it’s essentially free advertising after all, but I have to wonder how many stockholders with enough stock to influence a proxy vote aren’t paying the couple extra bucks a month for the ad-free version of Hulu.

Well everyone hates bundled cable with ads…so they probably just canceled.

I expect to see Dana Walden get promoted to COO and announced as Bobs successor tomorrow. How bout that?

I think we’re at least a year out from that. If that was decided it would have already been trotted out to basically take all the wind out of the succession sails. It’s pretty much the only thing left not fully addressed and would have completely shut down Peltz.

Now, I also strongly believe at this juncture Dana is the front runner. But it’s an awkward amount of time to be the named heir for over 2.5 years.

You know all percentages have to add up to 100%, right?
