I was just thinking today on my long business flight how we have seen and witnessed some of Disney's worst moments on the internet.... Anyone remember these not so magical times???

As I read of current issues, it is a bit comforting to think back to how it could really be...

- Rumor of Comcast buying Disney to create "Disney-Comcast"
- Rumor of the parks to be sold.
- The stock tanking to around $17 a share.
- SaveDisney.com spear headed by Roy Disney and Stan Gold.
- Walt Disney World Blues web site.
- Disneyland being bad with upkeep while WDW was the shining star.
- Euro Disney tanking at first.
- Disney's America a "no go"

Did I miss anything???

Comcast has turned out to be a terrific theme park owner.

Seriously! They really turned things around for Universal Orlando after that NBC ownership.

I love Comcast now.

I think at first the scare was the unknown.... One question was how could an Empire like Disney get bought out by my cable Company...and then how would the synergy of the 2 cultures mesh...or not..

Yup, Comcast buying the parks might have been the best thing that could have happened. God knows Disney has been letting them go to hell for a decade or so now.

But Uni is certainly on the rise, so that's good.
