Kingdom Hearts- The Ultimate Adventure

:xmas:Here's an early Christmas gift to everyone! Merry Christmas!:xmas:
(And sorry if you've never played Kingdom Hearts, because there is a lot of KH lingo and references in this description.)

Kingdom Hearts- The Ultimate Adventure-

This is the the king of all of the attractions in this resort. This ride is probably the most elaborate, technical and popluar ride in the entire resort. With amazing technology and intricate design this is a must-see! And the re-rideabilty for this attraction is huge! Within the village of Kingdoms of the World, you'll find the attraction, which lies inside the Twilight Town clock tower.

The Queue- Once inside the clocktower, the queue worms it's way past several moving gizmos and clock formations. The room is filled with several Hidden Mickeys. After moving through the Gizmo Room, guests pass into the next part of the queue, a Gummi Block facility. There are several flashy objects and gummi block formations being built. Chip and Dale watch the scene below, from an operating booth above the Queue. They entertain guests while waiting in the long line. Guests then pass into a Gummi Ship Briefing Room.

Once inside the dimly-lit Briefing Room, Sora, Donald, and Goofy appear on a video screen ahead.

Sora: Hey there! We heard we'd be getting visitors soon!

Goofy: Gawsh, Sora. There's so many of them!

Donald: Well, the more help the better!

Sora: Ok, let's cut down to the chase. The three of us have been visiting various worlds to get rid of the Heartless, creatures that are ruled by darkness. ( A Heartless appears on a side screen)

Donald: Yeah! And we've been going with him because Sora's the keyblade master and always gets us in the middle of everything!

Sora: Donald! Anyway, we'll need your help to rid the worlds of the Heartless and to find King Mickey! You'll each get your own gummi ship that will navigate you from world to world. But watch out! As you progress through each world, it will become more difficult to defeat the Heartless! Each gummi ship is equipped with a firing canon. Each of the ships has a joystick that allows you to turn your viewpoint.

Donald: Make sure you note the green and blue colored tab lights under your score. They are your health and magic power. If you run out of HP, your canon will be defunct for a few moments. If you run out of MP, you will regain it gradually.Destroying Heartless will give you HP. But watch out, because they can attack you, too!

Goofy: You can find magic spells, such as fire, blizzard, or cure by hitting smaller targets. Press one of the several "Magic Spell Buttons" under your score to perform the spell! Once ya get inside those big, ol' worlds, you never know what might happen! The Heartless will try to take over, so it's up to you to defeat them! So, you gotta work fast!

Sora: We're counting on you, guys!

Sora, Donald, and Goofy: Good Luck!

The doors on the other side of the room open and guests enter the Gummi Ship Manufactory. After getting into your Gummi Ship (No two are alike!), the ship speeds off and blasts down it's first Gummi Route!

Gummi Concourse # 1 (Easy)- The gummi ship blasts off into the first concourse. The route is filled with light colored gummi blocks. Heartless ships appear from behing the gummi blocks, each boasting a target. Some with big targets, some with extremely miniscule. Most of them are easy to hit. As we round the curb, we pass through a rotating vortex. Now here's where the re-rideability factor comes in. The vehicles take two opposite routes to two opposite worlds.

Wonderland (Route 1)- The ships enter Wonderland, where the pass by Alice, who is being held on trial by The Queen of Hearts. The White Rabbit and the Playing Cards are also seen. The vehicles enter the Lotus Forest, where Mushroom Heartless appear from behind flowers and forest foliage. If you hit a Mushroom, that hides behind a flower, the flower blooms and gives you 5,000 bonus points! Of course, it's still not as easy as it sounds. The vehicles re-enter the gummi concourse.

Beasts' Castle (Route 2)- The ships move past Belle and the Beast dancing in a miniature ballroom scene, before heading down a large grand hallway. In the hallway, dormant gargoyles spring lo life! The targets are on their foreheads. After charging down the hallway of vivid gargoyles, th vehicles re-enter the gummi concourse. *All of the seperate routes are equal length*

Gummi Concourse # 2 (Easy-Medium)- The gummi ships move through a colorful vortex and pass through a large gummi block, while guests try to shoot the targets on the Heartless ships. Towards the end of the gummi runway, it gets harder to aim for the Heartless ships. The vehicles enter into another vortex.

Agrabah (Route 1)- The ships move past Aladdin who holds the magic lamp. Jasmine, Abu and the Magic Carpet stand beside him. The vehicles move through the marketplace when the heartless appear! Large thorny legs appear from within ceramic pots. Each of the lids on the pots lift up to reveal the targets. If a target is hit, a large breaking sound is heard and the pot starts breaking. During the last moment in the world, the Genie is projected on the building and magically eliminates the Heartless. (If you hit the Genie's ray of magic, you get bonus points)

Atlantica (Route 2)- The gummi ships move through the hull of a ship, where Ariel and Flounder float. You might see the image of a shark pass through the window from time to time. After exiting the opposite side of the ship, a group of large "Sea Neons" swarm the undersea grotto. However, these Heartless can send lightning bolts through the sea. So, if you hit the Heartless in the wrong spot and get zapped, you might be losing points! The vehicles re-enter the gummi ship concourse.

Gummi Ship Concourse #3 (Medium)- Now the challenge becomes more difficult. The Heartless ships become larger, but have smaller targets. The vehicles fly through a maze of gummi blocks to reach their next destination. Sometimes, shooting a mini block may provide hidden events, such as bonus points, changing the position of your vehicle, (to point at targets that give you higher scores) or even getting getting magic spells (that would also be cast from firing your canon. You enter into a third vortex.

Halloweentown (Route 1)- Guests arrive in Guillotine Square, where they are greeted by Jack, Sally, Zero and Dr. Finklestein. After passing into the next room, they'll find themselves in a deserted garden. Each of the tombstones has a target. Sometimes, one target may provide a Heartless, while one may provide bonus points or magic spells. The Heartless jump out, spooking the guests.

Pride Lands (Route 2)- The vehilces arrive at the base of Pride Rock, where Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Timon & Pumbaa greet the visitors, before proceeding through the Elephant Graveyard. While there, the Heartless and hyenas arrive! Each offer the same amount of points for defeating them. If you miss the hyenas while shooting, thay laugh hysterically at you! The vehicles move into the final gummi concourse!

Gummi Concourse # 4 (Super Ultra OMEGA Hard)- It's so hard I can barely write a description. The Heartless ships are hitting out with full force. They attack rampantly, take away more HP and few of them have targets on any more. The gummi ships fly through a barren wasteland before arriving at the final vortex.

Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden- The gummi ship immediately heads into a Ravine where the Heartless attack from all sides. (Now if I had complete freedom, I would add some Final Fantasy characters to this part, but because of copyright reasons I can't. Possibly for a future Japan park...) The vehicle makes it's way up to the base of a castle, where it enters into Ansem the Wise's Study Room. The vehicles move into a portal, which lies directly ahead.

End of the World- Now comes the true challenge: The defeat of the Heartless! Hundreds of Heartless of all type, swarm the endless abyss of darkness. Dark clouds cover the sides of the walls, not offering a glimmer of light. After passing through the void, a boss fight resumes!

Boss Fight!- The group of vehicles battle Xehanort, your main enemy. He casts magic, shoots lasers at the vehicles, and summons Heartless! After passing through the next room, another Xehanort animatronic with fiber optics all over it's body, disintegrates into nothing.

Door to Light- The guests move out of the dark chamber and onto clouds of smoke that form on the ground. Directly ahead is a large pure white door. We pass through the door and King Mickey appears, with Keyblade in hand. The animatronic raises the keyblade and fiber optics and projections form and seal the door shut. As the vehicles move back into the station, Sora is heard again:

Sora: Thanks for helping us out! You defeated the Heartless and found King Mickey! Your a big help. Come back again soon! See ya!

The guests exit their gummi ships and exit the building through the Gizmo Shop, which offers all sorts of Kingdom Hearts memorablia; from games, to posters, to Keyblades, rare collectibles, and plushies.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Also, just because some worlds are lableled (Route 1) or (Route 2) doesn't mean the vehicles stay on the same route the entire time. The worlds the guests enter are random. I know this attraction may seem confusing, so if you have any questions please post them!

Since, I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, I'm probably going to start a Kingdom Hearts 3 game/idea thread in the Gaming Section. I have so many ideas! It'll be awesome! I'm also thinking about starting a new Disney resort because this one's almost done, but that will come in time...

Beauty and the Beast-

The Queue-- The queue line travels through a torch-lit hallway of the Beast's Castle. Along the hallway, are several stained glass portraits that re-tell the prologue of Beauty and the Beast. (The prologue is the opening of the story, which features the Enchantress casting a spell on the castle, turning the prince into a beast.) Below each stained glass window, is a metal subtitle depicting each scene. Guests board wooden carriages and set off through iron gates and embark on their journey.

Belle's Provincial Town- Guests move through a short pine tree forest, before arriving into a circular room. The room is completely surrounded by a variety of faux shops and houses of all sizes. In the center of the courtyard, a real fountain lies, with a statue of Belle sitting on its edge, reading a book. The vehicles circle around the fountain. The townspeople, including the Baker, Bookkeeper and Maurice all stand beside the buildings. As the vehicles leave the room, they see Gaston and Lefou looking at Belle, mysteriously.

The Dark Forest- The vehicles move across a gentle wheat plain, before entering a dangerous forest. Thick trees and dead vegetation populate the area. The rickety tree branches stretch above the vehicles, as if trying to grab the passengers. A pack of wolverine statues appear from behind one of the tree stumps and they growl, menacingly, at the guests.
Guests find a clearing in the forest, where they arrive at the entrance of a castle. The vehicles move through the doors.

The Castle- The vehicles arrives in a long entrance corridor. The room is lit in deep blue hues. Flickering candles along the wall, casts shadows across the room. Gargoyle statuettes line the walls and arches that spread to the ceiling. On a table to the left, an animatronic Lumiere and Cogsworth silently converse, telling eachother not to do anything that might get them caught. The vehicles pass into a room on the right of the hallway.

Belle's Room- You enter into a small bed chamber, where Belle sits upon her bed, discussing her newly changed life with her wardrobe, Mrs. Potts and Chip. The wardrobe then springs open her draws and shows Belle a dress to wear to dinner.

Be Our Guest!- This is the largest room of the attraction. In the center of the room, Lumiere stands on a large platform, as several knick knacks and silverware dance around him. The characters sing the award-winning musical number. Plates and bowls, cups, and platters displaying fanciful food move across long end-tables in the room. Colored lights move and flash across the scene. Mrs. Potts stands in the center of whirling napkins, as Cogsworth tries to stop the madness. The vehicles leave the scene.

The Forbidden West Wing- The vehicles move down a dark hallway, where gruesome gargoyle statues seem to watch the passing vehicles. They move through a door and find the Beast's Chamber. In the center of the room, a mysteriously glowing rose haunts the animatronic Beast hovering over it. Next to it, lies a glowing mirror. On the far right wall, a portrait of a handsome male's face, has been slashed and torn. The vehicles move to the far end of the room, where a landing overlooks the earth, below. The night twinkles with glistening stars. The vehicles move across the landing an into a garden.

The Garden- Belle and the Beast sit on a stone formation, reading a storybook. Rose bushes spread throughout the garden. Long, ivory vines cover the castle walls. Fiber optics twinkle within each rose bush, adding a sense of mystery and magic to the area. The vehicles re-enter the castle.

Beauty and the Beast- The vehicles enter into a magnificent ballroom (which looks much bigger than it actually is.) Belle and the Beast statues, on a rotating circular platfrom, dance the unforgettable waltz, as Mrs. Potts sings affectionately. Lumiere, Cogsworth and Chip look on encouragingly. The lights slowly dim, as candlelight illuminates the ballroom.

Returning Home- Guests enter into a small chamber, where Belle looks into the magic mirror, as the Beast watches. Projected behind the figures, is an image of Maurice, death-defyingly traveling through the icy forest. The Beast tells Belle to return home. We exit the scene and quickly re-enter another short pine barren forest scene, before returning to the village.

Kill the Beast!- A mob has now formed in the town, holding torches and pitched forks. Belle stands on her house steps, holding up the mirror, revealing the Beast. Gaston rouses up the crowd, singing "Kill the Beast". Before Belle or Maurice can do anything, the crowd starts marching towards the castle.

Attack on the Palace- Guests re-enter the forest-surrounded castle and arrive in the entrance corridor. They find an onslaught going on between the angry villagers and castle objects. Mrs. Potts sends fake steaming water onto one of the villagers, as Lumiere sets the other'sbehind on fire. The wardrobe sings an operamtic symphony, as the fight resumes. The guests move onto a balcony, where strings hang from the ceiling, as lights quiclky flash over them, making it look like rain. Thunder crackles in the background.

On the Rooftops of the Palace- The vehicles move across the rooftops, as Belle and a clearly-injured Beast come into view. The shadow of Gaston lies on the wall, laughing meniacly, before falling to his doom, with a blood-curtling scream. Guests hear Belle whisper an "I love you" before entering the next room.

The Transformation- In the next room, the form of the Beast is shrouded with light and smoke, Belle looking on in amazement. The smoke dissintegrates to reveal the Beast in his prince form. The castle rooftops lighten up, as a series of twinkling fiber optics transform the castle. They pass through another pair of doors.

And They Lived Happily Ever After...- The vehicles pass by a large storybook, which reveals Belle, the Prince, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip (all in human form), celebrating their new life, being human again. A bottom subtitle reads "And They Lived Happily Ever After..." The vehicle pulls into the unload station, where a stained glass portrait of Belle and the Prince dancing is showcased.

Just recently joined wdwmagic, and I had been following this thread prior to joining. Some of your concepts/ideas are awesome! At first i was skeptical of a park based on the bad guys, but Villian's Vale sounds extraordinary. Great work kingmickey:sohappy:

KingMickey I really like this ride, I think it is very creative. I feel that it is one of your best, if not the best of your attraction ideas. Cant wait to see what else you have up next.

Thank you also, Mater! Wow, I actually didn't really think of this as being one of my "better" ride ideas, but I'm glad you think so. And you have some pretty amazing ideas in your Disneyland Texas! Keep up the good work, as well!

I'm a BatB fan, and I can safely say that that description is most likely the best version of the concept to date, including my concepts! Keep it up, I want more!!

Thank you! I'm glad that I was able to do justice to the Beauty and the Beast story with this attraction.

So what's next?

Well, here the previously mentioned attractions that I plan on doing ride descriptions for:

-Escape the Witch
-Shark Attack!
-Zero to Hero
-Timon & Pumbaa's African Safari
-Just Around the Riverbend
-Primeval Whirl
-The Ice Queen's Kingdom
-Dragon Tower

All of the mentioned attractions are in my Disney's Kingdoms United! and Disney's Worldy Wonders theme parks, which have already been described in this thread. After I finish these attraction descriptions, there's not much left for me to do in this thread. Of course, I'll still do attraction descriptions for rides not on that list (just PM me for that attraction descriptions that you want me to post.)

So, after I finish these final attraction descriptions, I'll be a free Imagineering agent, willing to help others on their Imagineering projects! Of course, if they want me to. (I need a new Imagineering project! :))

Anyway, I'm actually planning on starting a new Kingdom Hearts 3 thread in the Video Games section of these boards. The new thread will basically be my ideas for every aspect of what I would want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be like (including storylines, worlds, characters, etc.). So, after I finish that thread, I’ll probably start a new, original resort thread (which will be quite a challenge, because creating multiple resorts, with different attractions and lands, is very complex.)

In a nutshell, that’s basically what I plan on doing next. :D
