Trip Report The Tuvalu Chronicles ~ Chapter 25 *COMPLETED*

Welcome, welcome, welcome to my 25th trip report.

Over the past five years, I have loved chronicling my WDW adventures with fellow forum readers who share my Disney passion. Writing keeps the magic alive for me. Discussions that result from your comments are icing on the cake! I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my posts. (And for those of you who have been following from the beginning ~ THANK YOU!!)

All my reports have been live, live-ish, or shortly-afterwards.....except one. In 2016 I wrote a retro TR detailing my first visit to the park that forever captivated my heart. You can read about it here. Or you can merely mock the photo below which is proof positive I cannot pull off wearing a hat.

Similar in style to last summer’s novel, this report will incorporate my June, July and August vacations. The ship has already sailed for a live report for June, but I may attempt some live updates in July/August. Or not. :hilarious:

Who: Tuvalu and Em
When: June 8-13, 2019
Where: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Did we meet the Wicked Queen? Who got shoved in the Haunted Mansion? Did the rain rain rain come down down down? Was there an attraction evac? Did one of us really cause a ride to shut down?

I don't know about that joke, but I'm trying to catch up! 😅

I also didn't know about #ShirleyStatus 'till now! In May I took a picture when Frank and I rode alone in a monorail car, I found it today, showed it to him and said "See? Shirley Status!", and Frank was like: "Huh?" :hilarious:

If I knew about it then, I would've posted it on my TR! Oh well.. !

I am saddened at the decline of BOG. We aren’t even dining there this trip. Thanks for following our adventures.

On a trip a couple years ago I was going over the next day’s schedule with Em and Woody. I said we were going to RD (rope drop) Pooh.

“Arty Poo?” Em replied, not knowing what I was referring to. “That’s disgusting.” It became a family joke.

As for Shirley Status, you can thank @fractal for coming up with that term. On another trip I walked the red carpet at the entrance to DHS. @fractal likened me to celebrity Shirley MacClaine. The joke stuck and the rest is history!

Hahaha! Em is right, arty poo sounds so bad! I won't be able to see that ride again without thinking about that joke!
And about Shirley Status, that explains why I couldn't find it on Google, hahaha! Thank you @fractal ;), genius!
