Day 1: We woke up at 6 am. Well, my mom, dad, and sister did. No one woke me and Daniel up! They assumed we had set an alarm and would wake up on time! Thankfully I woke up from excitement at 6:15. I woke Daniel up and we both walked into my parents room and told them we were not happy with them at the moment haha. We kept saying that the plan all along was to leave us behind!

Me and Daniel got ready in 5 minutes, by 6:20 the car was packed and we were driving out of our complex!

I have a gorgeous best friend don't I? Just to warn you all, there will be many pictures of us with some weird faces, it's hard for the 3 of us to take normal pictures lol. Before I took this picture Daniel was saying how we needed to decide on our food faster because we have some dates with a mouse, I know why he's my best friend!

Da Loop! On our last trip for Daniel and I's graduation, Me and Daniel drove my mom's car and my parents drove Ashley and her friend in another car. Daniel screamed out DA LOOP when we drove past the loop, so now we always have to take a picture of the sign. And it means we're close to WDW

So when I left off, we were approaching Shingle Creek haha. So after a bumpy ride, we were passing the Gaylord Palms and we know what that means. DISNEY IS JUST ONE OVERPASS AWAY! I start getting really excited and so do the others of course. We go up the ramp and as we come down we see.....
This beautiful piece of art! We're home!!!!! So, it was around 10 am when we drove under the sign. We decided that we were going to drive to DTD because our room probably wasn't ready yet. Daniel, Ash, and I needed to buy the tickets for our concert the next day and my parents needed to get their passes. So we took a right turn
and drove past this resort, which we had plans to go check out later... did we? you'll just have to wait to find out We parked at West Side and we split up. We were so excited to get our tickets, but got slightly distracted on the way to House of Blues by the Candy Couldron. Last trip we all got the apples and fell head over heels in love with them. We drooled a little at the window.....
Me and Daniel flipped out over the Cheshire cat apples. We have a deep love for Alice in Wonderland. Our Halloween costumes are Alice and the Mad Hatter haha. We kept walking, but I had to take one more picture before we could go to our destination
I loved it! and the new Phineas and Ferb thing looks really cool. We didn't get to see it in action though. Every time we were at DTD, it wasn't during the hours it's ran. Maybe next trip
We finally get to the ticket window! (They weren't too happy with me about that haha) I'm not spending too much time on this because I know you guys don't wanna hear about some bands you probably have never heard of lol, I just have to post these 2 pictures because they describe this whole trip.

I guess no one bothered to take a picture of Ashley, but she was making the same face as Daniel I promise we're going to the resort soon but, we had time to kill until my parents walked back so we went into the store with all the Vinylmations (I'm not sure the name) on West Side. And played dress up
I did say we had an obsession with Alice right?
We FINALLY found my parents after wandering around in stores waiting for them only to find out they were already at the car. And we were off to Wilderness Lodge!

Day 1 Part 3: "Don't let them see Daniel! Did you really just change in a parking lot?"
So we were FINALLY on our way to Wilderness Lodge, our home resort! We're DVC members and we bought into it 11 years ago as Wilderness Lodge as our home resort so it holds a special place in our hearts. But, we barely stay there haha. We like Old Key West better because the floor plans are much more spread out. So we all pile back into the car and drive a little ways and we eventually see this...
I've always loved the way that this resort looks like it was made with Lincoln logs. And Florida was getting some cool weather. Well cool for what Floridians are use to, warm for everyone else. But for some reason how nice it was outside made this resort even better for us.

He wanted to be on the totem pole So here's the reason why I wanted to call this part "dont let them see Daniel and did she really just change in a parking lot?" We got a studio, and studios are only suppose to sleep 4, well we had 5. And in the past Disney has given us some talking to's about stuffing people in rooms. Daniel wanted to walk and stand with my parents during check in. I yelled "noooo!!!!!! don't let them see you! You aren't suppose to be here" He was slightly confused, so me and Ashley sat him down and explained how 5 people in a 4 person room isn't suppose to happen at WDW. So that's part one of the title of this. After me telling him he wasn't suppose to be there, Daniel did this......
and tried to "hide" in the wall. He actually scared a few people haha
So, my parents "found" us and told us that the room wasn't ready. What a surprise right? Well we had planned on HS because we all wanted to audition for American Idol Experience. none of us looked "appropriate" so off to the parking lot we went. Which is where part 2 of the name comes in. Daniel and I were going to grab jeans and put our shorts in our bags and carry them around, Ash didn't want to carry hers, and we weren't ok with walking back to the car again. So she hopped into the back of the car and changed. People were walking by staring at us because all our suitcases were on the floor in the parkinglot and I was putting sneakers on. She walks out of the car and I yelled "DID YOU REALLY JUST CHANGE IN A PARKING LOT?" We got some stares
So after we were done being dorks. We walked over to the bus stop and waited for a bus to HS.

Day 1 cont. even more: So we waited for a bus to HS, which took about 15 minutes. We didn't care we we're just excited to be back in WDW! So we go to HS, I didn't take any pictures at all because we we're on a mission; get to American Idol NOW. So we pretty much ran there. Ashley then decided that she didn't want to do it anymore so it was just me and Daniel. We went into our separate rooms. I made it past the 1st round and was in the coke room picking a song waiting for Daniel. It took him 30 minutes in the first step of the audition but, he made it past it!!!! So now we're both in the coke room with Ipods picking songs. I go see the casting director (who was an amazing cast member, I wish I remembered his name) I made it into a show, and was given the video package! Now we just had to wait on Daniel...... We both made it! and in the same show!!!!!! We had 2 hours until we had to come back for the 6 o clock show so off we went to TOT

This picture was great, I looked like I was photoshopped onto it and Daniel looks crazy Then off we went to RNRC, we all did single rider because stand-by was 50 minutes, we did not have time for that. No pictures
Then we decided on GMR and I got to start taking pictures..

The gangster we got... well... he was trying to do the accent but it just sounded like he had dental work and his mouth was still numb... the girl was decent After that, we had about 25 minutes until we had to be back at AI. So we went to the bathroom, got some water and sat outside the Commisary waiting until we could go in. When we were allowed in, I handed my camera off to Ash so she could take pics of the show. So, we have no pictures backstage, but we have a million from the Photopasses and my camera, but I'll only post a few. Daniel sang "Use Somebody" and I sang "Before he Cheats" It was fun. I love performing and my major is musical theatre in college so I was in my element.

That's all I'll post for that, I have about 100 pictures just from AI, I won't make you guys suffer through that haha. So the other girl won, but we knew she was going to from the first second she started singing. We did it for the fun The title for this part came from one of the judges. When they we're talking to Daniel the one who looks like Randy said that his shirt looked like the Bee Gees threw up on it. And then said the same about my shirt. We thought it was the greatest thing we had ever heard So that's all I can write for now. There should only be one more post for day 1 haha. Coming up: The dinner we've all been waiting for, "is that cake boss???"
So after we were done with AI, we wanted to ride Toy Story, so we went over to Pixar Place. The wait was only 40 so we hopped in line.

While we we're in line Daniel told us that he always wins at this and that today would be no exception. Well guess who came in last? Yeap, Daniel, by 9,000! haha. After we got off, it was around 7:45, we we're all starving seeing as we only had a snack at the park. This was ok, because we all had dates with some Beaches and Cream. So onto the boat we went to Y&B. Our last trip in June, it was pouring and we just so happened to be stuck right by Beaches and Cream and we decided to eat there. We all got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque and we haven't stopped talking about it since then, so we were excited. When we got there we all sat down and took pictures with our menus because none of us needed to look at them
So we all ordered milkshakes, chocolate for me, orange sunrise (I think that's what it's called) for Daniel, and mint chocolate chip for Ashley.

We had a great waitress, we ordered our grilled cheese and waited anxiously. While we we're waiting Daniel said "that guy over there looks like cake boss." I looked over and said "Cause it IS cake boss!!!" He was there with his wife, kids, and in laws. They we're all sharing a kitchen sink. I didn't take a picture cause I would have felt rude, it's their vacation, I don't wanna ruin it. Just like a few years ago my dad met Michael Strahan at WDW. My dad is a HUGE Giants fan, and said "go Giants" Strahan nicely said "No photos please, I'm with my family" That stuck with me since then, they're people too, who am I to ruin their trip. Maybe I'm just too nice.. lol. But, yeah he was there haha. So after what felt like an hour, but was really only like 10 minutes they arrived!
It's so simple, but it's so good. They put cream cheese on it and it sends it to another universe I swear. If you've never had it, try it. It's $9, which is normal for Disney prices, but it's soo good.
The aftermath.
So after dinner, we caught a bus to DTD, then another bus back to WL. We FINALLY got to see our room at about 11 pm, my parents stayed at the hotel until it was ready earlier, which it only took about an hour after we got there for it to be ready. We we're in the Villas obviously room 1506, on the first floor, our patio was right next to the walkway from the main building to the Villas, and we just had to jump over one plant to get to the walkway to the buses, it was perfect. So we all took showers and passed out, we had an early day tomorrow. That's it for Day 1, I'll start day 2, tomorrow thanks for reading guys
We woke up at around 8 am. Got dressed, made some frozen waffles for breakfast and left the room around 9. Today was what we came to WDW for in the first place. Food and Wine Fest.! My family has been coming for F&W for years now, but it was Daniel's first time ever.

Daniel and I So we got to Epcot around 9:45. We wanted a picture of us with the ball, but were too stubborn to ask someone to take it so we took one ourselves
I like how it came out. But a photopass photographer saw us and asked if he could help, so I gave him our photopass and he took some pictures

After SSE, we went to go see about Soarin' FP, they were for 2:00-3:00 which was perfect because we were leaving the park at 3, so we got them. I wanted to ride The Land, so we got into the longest line I've ever seen for that ride, 10 minutes lol. It moved quickly though. I took some pictures, because we NEVER go on this ride when we go

After the Land, it was 11:30 and we were ready for some Food. But, first we stopped for some free soda at Club Cool. We knew which ones we liked and which ones we didn't. Except Ashley.. haha. I said "Ashley try that one. I think it's a good one, I liked it last time." and got here some Beverly I'm a horrible big sister I know. She tried it and almost spit it all over Daniel. I got a picture of her beautiful face though
After she said she hated me, we were ready to eat. So off to the countries we went. That will be in the next post
Sweet, The Maine and Mayday Parade! I have seen them both in concert. Great bands, and now I know what I'll be queuing up on the iPod tomorrow at work! Great report.

So after getting some free soda, we are finally ready to stuff ourselves. We make it to the international gateway and go in the giftshop to get our gift cards We each put some amount of money on it haha. And we're off to our first stop!

I had the trick n chicken curry, I loved it! It had some spice to it, but not so much where you we're dying.
Ash had to chocolate cake with sorbet, I don't remember what fruit it was, but she absolutely loved it. On our way home my dad asked what the best thing we had was and she went on a 10 minute tangent talking about how great it was and how we need the recipe. haha
Daniel had the Chili Colorado, he liked it, I didn't really, I'm not a huge Chili fan. But, it wasn't bad.
Caribbean Me and Ash skipped this stand, because one of our favorites was up next. Daniel wanted something so he got in line and got..
Ropa Viejo. He of course loved it, I had a bite and it was so good! But, I didn't want to buy it because I can get that down in South Florida lol, boy was I wrong, I wished I got mine own, but hey at least I got to try it
Argentina
Me and Ash both got the beef skewer with chimmichuri sauce and mashed potatoes. We get it EVERY year and it never disappoints us.
So after Argentina, we had plans to go to Australia and Mexico, but Ashley had gotten an Agent P mission phone before we started eating, and after 15 minutes of inactivity, it turns off. She didn't want that to happen so she made us skip it all and go to Norway for the mission.... We weren't too happy lol. We were there to eat!
It kept making us run all around the country and I didn't like it. So I started taking pictures.

Apparently we weren't meant to be spies, because our phone froze, dang it, haha. She gave it back to the headquarter thing in Norway.
While she was doing that, Daniel and I found something new in Norway. The church, which we thought was just a fake building, is a museum! I thought I knew it all, but I was wrong. So we went inside to see it. it's really small, but its air conditioned haha.
There were about 3 of these depicting Norwegian life. It was cool. After that, Ash was back and we we're off to the next country! We skipped Scandinavia because we have and Ikea near our house, and it serves the same exact food....

So, for all this food, there are never many tables to eat at. So we decided that when needed, we would use garbage cans. They're not dirty, and had no smell. So we used them to our advantage, and when we were done, we didn't have to walk to throw the plates out.

We all split the Spinach and Panner Cheese pocket, So good, the seasoning inside was great. And it was piping hot! Loved it.
