Hello Friends and Welcome to the Spring 2020
THE GOLDEN MICKEY AWARDS

Celebrating the Best of Southern California Theme Park & Attractions. ​

As promised, the Golden Mickey Awards would return! This time, not just celebrating the best of the Disneyland Resort, but the best of the Southern California area, entertainment-wise. This includes beaches, malls, zoos, and most importantly, theme parks. Theme parks include Legoland, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, and Universal Studios Hollywood. The Disneyland Resort will not be included in this one.

I will like to keep Los Angeles tourism (Hollywood, Downtown LA) out of this as much as possible, unless of course it naturally falls into an award category (such as Santa Monica going for the best beach or the LA Zoo for best zoo).

The 1st Semi-Annual Golden Mickey Awards, celebrating the best of the Disneyland Resort can be found HERE!

This Wednesday (March 18), the Golden Mickey Nominations will be posted, ranging from best hotel to best theme park! A google form will be sent out allowing you to be able to vote your favorite picks in the categories. You will be able to vote up until March 25. The award ceremony will take place on March 27.

Feel free to reply here with your suggestions for categories & nominations. Last awards, many people had suggestions for categories! Here you go! Suggest some! The reason nominations are coming out later than they would is so you guys can suggest!

Let's hope this one is as successful as the last one! If not we will just pretend like this never happened.
