Personally, I could see a Wakanda mini-land, or at least a ride, going in Animal Kingdom connected to Africa. Maybe along the big empty path between Africa and Pandora. Or as a way to help bridge the gap between Africa and Planet Watch.
Really? First Zootopia, then Indiana Jones, and now this? Don’t you know that this is something that Joe Rhode just wouldn’t allow? And that’s even with the rights to represent the rest of Marvel in their East Coast theme parks.

Quick poll for everyone: Without looking it up, do you know the basic history of Disney's America?
It’s was originally supposed to be built in Haymarket, Virginia. It would have lands that were homages to America’s past from colonial times to the military bases of the world wars. It was scrapped because the planned site was situated on a battlefield, and this angered the locals. However, traces of Disney’s America can be found in DCA with (the now closed (because of Disney’s current obsession with IPs) Paradise Pier and Grizzly River Run.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone smarter than I am know if Black Panther could legally be used in Disney World? Feels like it could, but I'd be lying if I said I was in anyway positive haha.

If it can be legally used (or if not, this is just for fun anyways), how would you like to use the property? Or would you prefer not to use it at all?
My idea: cool replacement for tomrrowland.
That is all since I have not seen movie.

Disney's america went through (I think) three iterations. The first being the most controversial since it had a land themed to war (or something like that). Disney's america was also the birth (or in the case of soarin', the second birth) of many attractions and lands that are in dca today, thus meaning that technically we did get disney's america.

Adding to the DCA side of things. At one point in the 90s the Knotts Family was looking to sell their Berry Farm, which Disney considered buying. They initially reworked their America ideas for Knott’s, which would’ve worked well since KBF has a replica of Independence Hall which would’ve become Disney’s icon. The family feared the Mouse would undermine their park’s unique personality, and they sold it to Cedar Fair instead...who arguably altered the park more severely (with their theme-ruining coasters) than Disney would’ve. Then DCA comes about with a few elements from the proposed Knott’s remodel.

To add onto S.P.E.W, there was pushback due to the theme @Voxel would know more

Y'all are great. I was doing some writing about a past Disney project and mentioned Disney's America in it but then was hesitant as just because I know what it is, doesn't mean lots know what it is. This confirms enough that I don't have to explain Disney's America deeply!

Also they weren’t angry about the being build on battle grounds (in fact much of the battle ground would have been maintained). The locals hated the idea of a big company coming in and distroying their quant town just out side of DC. That’s why neither Disney or Lego got that land. And 15 years later the heritage and stylization the town was trying to keep is gone and destroyed by the urban sprawl of DC.
