We decided to take a last-minute trip: three nights at the Boardwalk Villas (BWV). We jokingly said it was to pick up Giordano’s pizzas to take home for the kids but really we both were looking forward to some Christmas spirit at WDW!

In recent years, WDW has become a relaxing vacation for us, a place for a slow morning, a few hours at the parks, some lounging at the pool, dinner and some drinks.
We continue to be impressed by Disney's protocols, with WDW being one of the few places we feel relatively safe. (Frankly, WDW feels safer than home, where fewer seem to be following guidelines.) We wish others would follow Disney's example. If you want to getaway for a few days, I can think of no safer place to go than WDW.
On Wednesday, we left before morning rush hour and stopped for lunch at Uno's. (Seriously, their $8.99 salad and individual pizza has got to be one of the best deals out there!)
