The center room of Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is now closed to guests as a multi-week refurbishment gets underway at the Liberty Square shop

I hear they're going to update it so that it only has authentic Colonial-Era Christmas decorations.

It will wind up being a lovely empty space!

they used to sell true real period antiques ( colonial) and finer decorative items...
I think it was more for ambience than moving merchandise....
