The mystery of the ride rehab

With the upcoming celebrations, attraction rehabs are numerous. While I understand that HM gets rehab at the end of September for HMH or that Tom Sawyer Island is scheduled for September, I do not know why there is already a scheduled rehab for Dumbo in JANUARY 2005 while Jungle Cruise was just posted as going down next month. Is there a method to this madness? Operational failures aside, what decides what will be rehabbed next?

Dumbo isn't on the Disney calendar yet, but I don't see a problem with them telling people early. A lot of things are going to be closing for 50th rehabs, and I guess they want to inform people ahead of time.

When you say that the HM is getting a rehab at the end of September...do you mean it just will get spruced up for MNSSHP, or a major many weeks long rehab?

I believe (but not sure!) that the MNSSHP spruce up for HM will not be until 2005 Halloween. And in any case i wouldn't have thought it would be more than a couple of days!

Can anyone confirm (or rject of course) these thoughts?

I'd like to know about the HM being down as well - have heard nothing of the sort for the MK. As far as I understand the MK's HM will not get the holiday treatment until next year.

Sorry everyone, when I mentioned HMH, I was referring to DL. I got the Dumbo rehab info on mouseplanet.com, not sure if it's accurate. I guess that I was just trying to understand how some rehabs are scheduled far in advance while others seem to spring up suddenly, breakdowns aside.

Too bad. I was really looking forward to HMH. I've heard so many cool things about it. Thanks for the other info, though!
