The new "show" at the Magic Kingdom, "The Magic, The Memories and YOU!" will start at the end of this month.
As it was announced, it will feature pictures taken during the day that will be projected in front of the Cinderella Castle.
As more details will be revealed, I will post them here.

Will wait to judge this until I see it.

Going down second week of February for a huge family event, and I could actually see something like this going over big with our group, so interested in more details as they are available.

I might like it--once. Just this once.

It's nice to know that it's in addition to Wishes, not as part of a replacement for it.

It sounds like it is a much more scaled down version of what it was going to be. My initial impression when they announced it was that it was going to be a slideshow that went on all night, but now its just a few minutes. Maybe I was just reading into it too much - or did they actually listen to the guests complaining?

It's always been planned as a brief slideshow. It might be cool if they used the castle to tell stories like Fantasmic water screens. I have no desire to look at someone else's vacation photos.

Should be around a 10 minute show, performed once or twice per night.

Nope, much adieu was just being made about nothing. It was always supposed to be a brief 10 minute show complementing the firework display that follows it.

Nope, you probably read the dozens of comments from people overreacting and complaining like this was the end of the world. After reading those comments I'd assume the slideshow would not only be running all night but until the end of time as well.

Am I the only one who likes this??? I would love to see my three girls on the castle! Even if they aren't picked, I still think its a great idea. I mean I look at pictures of everyones trip reports because I love seeing happy people in Disney. (and I just love Disney:rolleyes:)

That's great news! :sohappy:

As one of those dozens of people :lookaroun (I can be accountable when I need to be!), I'll say that in my defense, I'd assumed the projections would be running all night. I don't think any of us really knew how long they were actually running for...

I guess if i have to spell it out for you.
Oh yay= I was showing a sarcastic show of enthuasism

Let the gheyness begin= is no reference to gays or anything. Its a northern local slang meaning gheyness means dumb

I apologize in advance meant that flamers werent soon behind because i was voicing my own personal opinion that i think the show is dumb.

does that help? Its all in good humor

Are you for real with this?

hehe...they end up like that guy in a recent post who feels they should be compensated for not seeing the christmas castle lights on 01-01-11

since this is bigger beucase it involves families maybe the compensation demanded is their trip paid for if they whine enough for it

I wonder what will happen if a family doesn't see their picture taken that day up on the castle..
