Preface
Im sorry for the non-story portion of this final project, we have changed this project several times, to figure out what is the best! Now onto the project.....​

Project 13​

Competitors:
-Chronoymous
-Fractal514

Task:
Create/expand to the Sunset Boulevard area of Disney's Hollywood Studios, either using Music or Horror themes. [all directions as if you are walking towards ToT]
--Music will use the left side of the street, connecting to Rock n' Rollercoaster area (can use any space/buildings/demolishion to the area), as long as its on left side of street
--Horror will use the right side of the street, connecting to Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, (can use any empty space or area on right side of street, even demolishing BatB theater)

Necessities:
--Two attractions (one must be original idea)
--A Restaurant (can be Quick Service or Table Service)
--Themed/Corresponding Shop
--Map/Layout of the Area

Due:
Saturday May 22nd at 8pm EST!

Feel free to expand on the necessities as you see fit, but these are the bare bones of what is needed. This can be an original story that connects areas or not. Just make sure that the area connects to the corresponding attraction (either RnRC or TZToT) in terms of theme, so Music or Horror.

Note, you do NOT need to let me know which area you are doing.

If you have any questions, feel free to post here, or PM me, i will try to answer ASAP! After all, time is of th essences, especially in this project.

If for some reason you cant post the project by the due date (have another event, etc), you MUST MUST MUST let me know no later than May 20th at 8pm EST, and we can try to work something out.

The beginning of The League of Dreamers depends on ending of The Imagineer-- Season 2.

Must this be either/or and not both? For example, add a music ride and shop, and then a horror ride and restaurant?

You either do a Music section (with rides/restaruant and shop) OR a Horror theme (with ride/restaurant/shop)

It does, also, attractions, does that include walkthroughs and shows? Or must the attractions be rides?

Attraction is whatever you interpret it to be. After all everything that isnt a parade/shop/restaurant in a disney park is considered an attraction, its an all encompassing term

Mater hasn't responded on this yet, but if you guys get done before the due date, let somebody know. If both parties are finished early, we may be able to move up some dates for the League of Dreamers.

No pressure, you are both entitled to work until the 22nd. But, again, let us know if you get done early.

DUE DATE EXTENSION!!!

Due to some scheduling conflicts, I will be extending the due date to TUESDAY MAY 25th at 9pm.

With this I will be able to judge on Wednesday (as I have 1/2 days on Wed), and winner should be able to be announced my Thursday.

Also, NOTE League of Dreamers sign ups will be BEFORE the ending of Season 2 of TI, so stay tuned for more information from TrevorA and MANEATHINGWREATH (this is there thing, not mine, im just a judge) =)

May I ask for clarification on the rule "One Must Be Original" Is this a reference that we can't use characters or properties that already exist?

^In at least one of them, yes.

One attraction MUST be original, as in your own idea, BUT it can feature characters from other properties.

While the other can be a copy (with some differences), of course this can be original as well, but if you dont have time, this can be a copy from another attraction somewhere around the world.

So an original idea can still feature a Disney character tie in then?

Phew...I thought for a second there I would have to go in a whole new direction!

Yes, for instance, if you were making a ride in Animation Ctyd shoing the animation process, you can use various disney characters, such as Mickey, Minnie, Snow White, etc. It just has to be an original idea (ie no attraction copying, so you cant just take an attraction from somewhere else and place it here)... That is for the first one, for the second one you can do the latter.

As this is about a week into the project, I'd like announce a 'surprise'.....

there will be a fifth judge, in addition to Disneyson, Hack, TrevorA and I, the fifth judge will be YOU, well the public of WDWMagic, as we will have a Public Vote that will be open for 24 hours (from Tuesday 9pm to Wednesday 9pm), that way we have a fifth 'person' and there wont be any chance of a tie.

So, tell your friends that belong to WDWMagic, Public Voting from Tueday May 25th 9pm EST to Wednesday May 26th 9pm EST!!! Spread the word, we want LOTS AND LOTS OF VOTES!!!
