The Epic Mickey soundtrack is AWESOME!!

Hi, all, and Merry Christmas!

I wasn't sure where to post this exactly, since it's not movies or parks, and yes, it's attached to a video game, but it's the music I'm talking about...well, anyway...

I bought the Epic Mickey soundtrack on iTunes...and MAN!!!! No wonder it's getting awards and kudos all over the place! It is, flat out, some of the best Disney music ever created. I'm not kidding. A Disney-related project hasn't gotten music like this since...well, probably, Beauty and the Beast. I mean, this music thrills you, delights you, makes you think of Mickey and Disney magic in a whole new wonderful way. James Dooley is its creator, and that man deserves a major award of some sort. This is Disney music done right, with joy and thrills and scariness and melancholy all rolled up into one. You guys have GOT to hear it. Can't recommend it too highly.

Haven't got the game yet, but I'm hoping..come on, Santa...:xmas:

Seriously, Disney has GOT to make a movie based on Epic Mickey. Everything it'd need for a blockbuster film is already in place, thanks to the game, its story, and the music score. It's a no-brainer. Come on, Disney! Put Mickey on the big screen again! It's way overdue! And in Epic Mickey, he finally has a new vehicle that's worthy of him. Plus...there's Oswald...and all of the other forgotten characters...and the Wasteland...COME ON DISNEY, THIS IS TOO GOOD TO PASS UP!!!

Just wanted to add: the soundtrack is NOT tinny, rinky- video game music. It is sweeping, thundering, full orchestration; big-screen movie quality. It is NOT to be missed by any Disney fan.

Its amazing! I love Oswald's theme!! We just got the game today and can't stop playing it.

Man I did not have to look hard for this. I was playing the game and although it has a few frustrating flaws it is a lot of fun.

The soundtrack and scores really do standout. Everything about it, however designed the sound for the game and the departments involved should get raises and advancements.

That excludes almost every videogame that isn't trying to be retro after the 90's, then...videogame soundtracks have come a long way!

As for Epic Mickey, I'll have to check it out once I get a chance to play!

I almost bought it yesterday as a Christmas gift to my sister. Looks like I'll end up buying it for myself! If there is one thing that keeps me obsessed with Disney it's the great music scores!

Its not just what the music is played on for me but the amount of detail into it all. Warped versions of very familiar classics that match the worlds you are in. Its all kinds of awesome and goes along with the many geek outs.

Oh man, this music has got to be put into the parks. Well at least some of it. I am listening to the ending music, and boy is it amazing! I can just imagine walking into the Magic Kingdom and hearing this music or something!
