ME!! I'm a pre-school teacher/dance teacher and a disney lover for as long as I can remember! We started going when I was 6 years old and 23 years later, it is still my most absolute favorite place on Earth! I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for this trip...just ask my husband!

Speaking of my husband...meet the man who puts up with my obsession! He's a coal miner and likes disney which works out well for our marriage! We've decided if the coal industry keeps going down, we're moving to Orlando! haha

Next up is my baby sister! Well, not so much a baby anymore...she graduated college this past year and has joined us in the big kid world. She shares my love of all things disney, especially Donald (as you can see). We wear matching Minnie ears the whole trip and you can either find us squealing or singing somewhere on property....yes, we're 29 and 22 but we just don't care! Her boyfriend will also be joining us on this trip. I call this his "right of passage" trip. If you don't love disney, then you just can't be in this family....right?

Our mom! Another lover of disney and the person who is rolling her eyes as the sister and I squeal/sing.

Last but certainly not least, the woman who started it all, Grandma!! If you took all of our love of disney and put it into one person, it would be her. When my mother was younger they lived down the road from Disneyland and went all the time. She will tell you she's Mickey's cousin. She took me on my very first trip when I was six and we stayed in a castle view room at the Contemporary. Hooked ever since! This trip is for her because she wants one more "family trip" to disney before we all get too busy to take them anymore.

So we're 53 days out and we've pretty much got everything in order for the most part! We switched some days around earlier on to get the free dining plan - added 2 nights, saved $300!! We're also doing the Memory Maker. We had it for our trip last October and LOVED it! Here's what our trip looks like thus far:

Thursday, November 19th

I'm working that day and George (husband) has it off so he can drop our two dogs off at the kennel that morning. When I leave work, I'm gonna swing by and pick up Grandma, go home and pack up the car. We're flying out of Pittsburgh and one thing I've learned from reading other trip reports, we're very lucky we only live 20 minutes from the nearest airport. We still need to figure out where we're going to park the car but that's minor details right? Our flight leaves at 5:45 so we should be in Orlando by 8:30! Mom, sister, and boyfriend are driving because they are not so much fans of flying. They're pulling out around 4:00 and will arrive in Orlando the next day! We're staying at Pop Century for the first time. Husband and I have a preferred pool view room with a king bed (hopefully). The rest of our party have a preferred handicap accessible room.

Friday, November 20th

We don't have park tickets for this day so it will be a relax day. Husband and I have reservations for breakfast at Whispering Canyon. Neither of us have been there so we're excited. We plan to use the day resort hopping and checking out any Christmas decor at the hotels. The rest of our party should be there in time for our dinner reservations with the whole crew at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney.

Saturday, November 21st

First day in the parks!!!!! Magic Kingdom day! We'll do a quick service breakfast and have dinner reservations that evening for the Luau at the Polynesian for the whole gang. We did this a few times when I was younger and always liked it. My husband has never done it so we figured why not? Our Fastpasses for the day are for Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, and Pirates!

Sunday, November 22nd

MGM!! Well, Hollywood Studios but it will always be MGM to me. We have a breakfast reservation that morning at Chef Mickey's. Our Fastpasses for the day are the Frozen Sing-along (I cannot not tell you how EXCITED the males in our party are for this one....), Tower of Terror for myself, husband and sister's boyfriend. I DESPISE this ride...I have photo proof I'll have to post on here one day. But it's my husband's favorite so I deal with it....Little Mermaid for the rest of the party at that time, and finally Toy Story.

Monday, November 23rd

Magic Kingdom Round 2!!! We'll do a quick service breakfast. Husband and I have dinner reservations at Be Our Guest. We love lunch here so we're excited to try it for dinner. Plus, Beauty and the Beast is my second favorite disney movie so I am just dying to meet the Beast!!! The rest of the gang have dinner reservations at Tony's. Fastpasses for the day include SDMT, Big Thunder, and the coveted Anna and Elsa for my sister and I!!!! I met them last October around midnight at the end of a MNSSHP after waiting 35 minutes since I couldn't score a Fastpass that trip! Super excited about it though!!!!

Tuesday, November 24th

Epcot!! Husband's favorite park!! We have dinner reservations for Biergarten that evening. It's my family's favorite. I'm a picky eater so I'm not much of a fan. Born in Germany...not big on German food. Go figure! Our fastpasses for the day are Soarin and The Seas with Nemo!

Wednesday, November 25th

Animal Kingdom!! We have breakfast reservations at the Tusker House. With a Donald Duck lover in the family, his breakfast is a must! Plus, the husband loves the juice! Our fastpasses include Kilimanjaro, Dinosaur, and Everest.

Thursday, November 26th - TURKEY DAY!!!

Right now, its a Magic Kingdom day! We have lunch reservations for the whole gang at Be Our Guest. LOVE!! Our Thanksgiving meal with be at 1900 Park Fare. I have tried and tried and tried for Liberty Tree but with no success. Still trying daily so keep your fingers crossed!!
Our fastpasses include Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder, and SDMT.

Friday, November 27th

Check out day :( Our original plan was to have a park day and leave on Saturday. However, the airlines felt differently. To fly home on Friday, it cost us $155 per person. To fly home on Saturday, it would have cost over $250 per person to fly home and the flights were selling out quickly and we prefer nonstop. So we shortened the trip by one day.

Have a great time and expect some crowds.
You picked a great day to do MK, Thanksgiving is a perfect day. Try to get to the park at open as the crowds tend to sleep in on that day and you can really enjoy the park and get some extra rides in before the crowd shows up at lunch time.
Pop Century is nice, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
