Test Track

Hello everyone. I'm in nedd of some help because i'm giving my room a makeover. Its going to be full of metallic looking stuff and painted in a dark blue. On one wall i wanted to place the blue metal triangular shaped things found in test track. They are in the regular queue line when ur walking into the sound testing room to check for ur car's wind noise. I wanted to place some of that in my room but i don't know if disney imagineers manufactured that or if it was from outsiders....If you have any info plez post. laterz

I would suggest looking up sound deadening equipment online. If i remember correctly, that is what the blue triangles were for.

I believe that it is just 1/16" perforated metal panels bent into the triangular shapes and overlapped and screwed into place.

No but I thought he was after noise reduction and the shape of egg boxes or trays does work.

Yes, you are right about the sound reduction properties of egg crates...

I didn't know if he just wanted the looks of it.

I'm looking more for the looks of it then the sound defeaning part but it is a welcomed by product. I wanted to put some in my room but don't know where i can buy them.....
