I was upset to hear about it too, but given the choice between that or say, The Haunted Mansion, I think my daughter will be ok with it not running. I'll have her ride something similar this summer at the Boardwalk(not the DW one the Jersey one lol)

I feel your pain...our last trip, Feb 2-9, Splash Mountain was down. We were disappointed that we were not able to ride it, but we had a wonderful trip. I am sure you will have a Magical trip!
