Just to clear things up (wrong section? oh well), people keep saying that Randy Newman is writing the music for the new Disney animated musical Tangled, this is False. Alan Menken and Glenn Slater have already written the music and lyrics for the film nothing has changed (or been announced). Randy Newman is not involved with Tangled. Have a magical day too, but I don't think I have ever read any comments here saying that Newman is responsible for the soundtrack.

Menken will do a fine job, of that I am sure

There is a whole thread going on right now and about 5-7 people think that Randy is doing the music.
