Talking Mickey!!

This is really neat, an interactive Mickey Mouse. He talks and its not just a pre recorded speech coming from inside the costume, his mouth moves while the person inside the costume speaks using a vocal pitch changer making him sound like the real deal Mickey Mouse himself. He also blinks too:animwink:. They tested this out in May of last year. How long till this becomes the norm and every other character is like this?

Wow, that's super cool. I've seen the "animated" (blinking and mouth) characters and I can see these being seen more in the parks but that voice thing would have to be a tough thing to provide. Once Mickey talks guests/kids will eventually expect more talking characters. It really would change character experiences.

I'm saw a talking Mickey at MK. We were there for the opening ceremony, early April (4/10, I believe). The talking Mickey came out and was up there by the train next to the other characters and the like. My son thought it was "cool and freaky." My daughter said, "We're finally seeing the real Mickey Mouse."
