Yep. At the end you’d have been sent to one of two theatres (and got your glasses on the way in for the 3D version).

Right now there is currently no new attraction. The space is stuck in development limbo.
And the four most likely options are:
-Back to Wreck-It Ralph (50%, depends on box office numbers for WIR2:RBI)
-Same Attraction, But Incredibles Instead (40%, depends on box office numbers for both TI2 and WIR2:WBI)
-Dark Ride (5%, Only Because of Building Size)
-House of the Future/Innoventions-style Walkthrough (5%, Just an Idea)

Is that opinion?

I'm hoping they'll put in a chili dog stand.
Disney Proudly Presents... Stitch's Chili Dogs & Burps! Grab a chili dog and get a burp in your face for only $19.99!

No need to be rude, just putting in a rough estimate of how likely it is based on the info we have.

I’m probably going to regret doing this at 8:10 PM (because I’m at total scaredy cat), but I’m watching the video tribute to Alien Encounter that @marni1971 made. So far I’m only in the preshow room with Skippy (poor Skippy), and even though it’s creepy and unsettling, I don’t think it set up the final room enough.

Also, shout out to Martin for getting all of the videos on the screens, because is the first time I’m seeing them.

Martin's videos are indeed the best. Between letting me relive old attractions long gone I missed (like Horizons) or attractions I never got to experience (Meet the World), his vids are always welcomed and appreciated

The original preshow was even more unfitting

It would also be nice if they built something that actually fits Tomorrowland.

As for stitch, he's not super popular in America anymore. He seems to still be popular overseas though, considering that stitch encounter (it's like turtle talk or laugh floor, not alien encounter) is still open there.
Maybe not for younger children, but I don’t know how true that is for other demographics. There was Stitch merchandise EVERYWHERE when I was at Disney last year, and a lot of teenagers and younger adults were eating it up. It’s an older IP, but it isn’t really that obscure today.

Yeah that's true. A lot of millenials grew up with stitch, so we all still like him quite a bit. Younger kids though, probably don't even know who the character is, or don't care about the character. He's kinda like the new roger rabbit, once uber popular, still is with older demographics, not so much with kids.

I've scoped this out earlier and got similar numbers:

SGE: 18.4k sqft / .42 acres
Snacks and shops: 9k sqft / .2 acres
Total: 27.4k sqft / .64 acres

Peter Pan: 13.5 sqft / .31 acres

So, yeah, you could have a repeat of one of the shortest and lowest capacity dark rides in that space. ;)

For comparison, Buzz is .55 acres.

Just a thought about how to fit a decent size dark ride where Stitch currently sits (ORANGE). Marni has mentioned the space is not very conducive to putting a dark ride where the theaters currently sit but assume they gut it, fill the theater pit holes, and spend some dough to change some support structure. What if in addition to taking the spaces MisterPengiun added up they also expand out and enclose the current entrance outside queue area in addition to the stores in the corner (BLUE) and enclose and add the exit area under and around the Peoplemover near the Hub canal (PURPLE). They could use Star Traders as the start of the queue (GREEN). That should be enough space for a decent size dark ride. Thoughts....
