Just noticed a post that included the following information:

3. Spin Time - Be among the first to ride the Stitch's Great Escape! attraction at the Walt Disney World(R) Resort with a Radio Disney DJ; then assist a DJ during a live broadcast.

This is a prize offered for an auction that runs from Sept 27th thru Oct 14th. From that, can we surmise that the attraction will not open prior to Oct 14th since they must choose a winner and then contact the winner then arrange for them to be in the park. If that's the case, then Stitch will probably not open until the end of October.

What's the consensus? Good or bad theory?

According to the brouchure I got from Visa, it reads:

"Spin Time

You may win the bid for a trip to WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort to be a guest DJ with a Radio Disney on-air talent for a day interviewing guests about the exciting new attraction Stitch's Great Escape! You, along with portions of your interviews with guests, will be among those airing coast-to-coast on Disney Radio."

Sounds like the attraction will already be open.

Thanks for the exact phrasing. I copied that quote from what appeared to be a press release. That is why I was asking. I agree with what you surmised based on the information you provided. It does indeed appear that the attraction will be open or at least in full preview mode.

I have heard many different dates.

One cast member said that their would be a cast preview at the end of August.

There are supposed to be AP previews in September.

Another cast member stated the newsletter they receive in tomorrowland has the grand opening date of November 1st.

Prior to this most threads stated a Oct 1st opening

I think it will be soft opened during MNSSHP, starting Oct 1st, as there are less crowds and allowing them to tweak for the actual grand opening on Nov 1st. Any opinions on this theory?

I hope 1 October is right. We will be there until the 7th.

This also backs up my first theory based on the dates of the auctions. By the time they select and notify the winner, it would be close to Nov 1. For a grand opening of Nov 1, then CM and AP previews would be end of Aug / early Sept and general previews in Oct thus backing up what you stated above.
