I'm getting confused. Didn't they say that Stitch's Great Escape would be open to the public in mid-to-late October? If that's true, then why would they be holding the CM previews around that time? Is construction behind schedule?
The timeline changed. Things change all the time.

During the Hurricane ride out I got another tour of the attraction by my manager, looks good, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Outside they have started laying the wireing for the Fastpass machines....joy. As far as CM and AP previews, maybe Late October, it doesn't look like it will open anywhere near the beginning of November. I will let you all know when training begins..but...probably not soon.

Also, yea, you can get fired for entering or taking people into the attraction without management or maintenance accompainment....infact it just happened this weeK! Yes many have entered w/o accompaniment, but not caught, the one who did get caught, got fired.

Hey thanks, that ws the kind of first hand account I was hoping to get for an update!

Makes sense about getting in trouble without maintenance or mgt. I've never seen any show buildings without maintenance.

From what I have seen from pics and drawing, it looks like the are keep in design that was for AE. Does anyone know if they are making any big changes to the seating? If I remember correctly they had the harnasses that came over your shoulders, that you pulled down. I'm sure the ride will turn out really well.

I'm going to be down during the first week in November. I have to admit that I'm going to be disappointed if its not up by that point. I am a firm believer in getting it done "right" rather than just "right now" but this is hardly a significant ride structure change and we are now approaching a year. Most amusement parks can build entire rides in an off-season. This is an indoor ride so weather hasn't been a concern either.

Thanks for the thoughtful contribution. Stich's Great Escape hardly seems like a radical change from the previous attraction. One would have thought that the conversion could have been successfully and competently completed within a one year time frame especially for people as talented as those at WDI.
