Staying at WL with an EVC

Hello Everyone,
I am planning a trip with DH who has a heart condition. He will need to use an EVC as he cannot walk very far or stand very long. We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge and it occurred to me that we will need to take the boat to MK and to the Contemporary to ride the monorail. Can they accommodate an EVC on the boats? Thanks in advance for any info.

They have some boats that are wheelchair and EVC accessible, I just can’t remember which resorts they go to (I know the one from Fort Wilderness to MK usually is). I would ask the resort at check in what they suggest

One of the boats from WL to MK is EVC accessable; the other is not as it is a smaller boat with steps down to the seats.

There are two boat "routes" at WL - one direct to MK and the other to Ft. Wilderness and Contemporary. To get to the Contemporary, you'll have to use the Ft. Wilderness boat. I'd just take the WL boat to MK and get on the monorail at the MK stop.

FYI - once or twice my family wanted to take the boat from WL to MK, I decided to take the bus with my ECV. I arrived at the MK much faster than they did - the bus ride is much shorter than the boat ride - just not as scenic!
