Have they yet confirmed details on Seasons of the Force, though? I've seen rumored dates of early January through March but no confirmation that I can think of. They might want to announce details now that it's ~8 weeks away.If they make fireworks daily, I'd call this a better off scenario. I'm not sure what Launch Bay will look like but with Star Tours, JTA, Launch Bay and Seasons of the Force, it's pretty Star Wars filled.
Just can't wait for the 14 acre expansion!

I mean, they're confirming Launch Bay dates today so I guess we didn't miss 2016 details yet.Have they yet confirmed details on Seasons of the Force, though? It is astonishing to me how late WDW announces dates for things given that they want us to plan our vacations 180+10 days out. Perhaps one day Disney will be able to plan major events further in advance than I need to plan my next visit to the Plaza Restaurant.I mean, they're confirming Launch Bay dates today so I guess we didn't miss 2016 details yet.
This is before the 180 day mark because this would have started mid May. So this one they are giving sufficient notice of the ending BUT if something replaces it that has yet to be officially announced and can be as early as January with what rumors are saying. It is astonishing to me how late WDW announces dates for things given that they want us to plan our vacations 180+10 days out.
I was referring to the fact that we don't have dates yet for Seasons of the Force. I think the notice for Star Wars Weekends' cancellation is perfectly adequate. And somewhat expected given that it seemed unreasonably to have Seasons of the Force AND Star Wars Weekends. This is before the 180 day mark because this would have started mid May. CorrectI assume it's the assorted film clips that will be played inside the ABC Sound Studio
Pretty sure everyone has a significant other that needs to sit in a SW recap clip movie...I assume it's the assorted film clips that will be played inside the ABC Sound Studio
This was to be our first Star Wars Weekends visit. I've been promising my son for years that we will eventually have time to see it. While I do prefer that SW will now be year-round once the construction is done, I had booked our room (DVC) at 11 months out back in June and came close to buying our airfare just this last week. Something was unsettling to me, probably this announcement looming, so I did not book.It is astonishing to me how late WDW announces dates for things given that they want us to plan our vacations 180+10 days out. Agreed! I think they should have been ready with Season of the Force details/ datesThis was to be our first Star Wars Weekends visit. Now, I only need to know if there will be enough SW on site to warrant a visit, or should I figure out another plan.
