Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I rode it 3 times on my trip
8/20 was the worst day. No pre-show (no rey hologram or ship, straight to the back hallway), Kylo and Hux were both motionless and second Kylo was the screen B-Mode.

8/22 Both Kylo animatronics were not working. Hux and pre-show were fine.

8/26 Best day by far Second Kylo was working in A-mode. He was still motionless talking to Hux on the bridge. Also, all the Cast members were into their roles and makes the experience much better.

8/20 was the first time we needed to skip the pre-show, and all I can say is how much those pre-shows add to the experience. Also the cast members themselves as well. Day 1 they all seemed like they were just going trough the motions (maybe because half the suspense was already ruined?). All 3 days I believe had excursions from the Starcruiser as I saw people with the pins and white MBs, so I don't think that was any cause of CMs just going through the motions.

What time did you skip the pre-show? I was on Batuu that day and whilst we had a terrible ride on Rise as you described we had the full pre-show. We rode I'd say around 1000. I know Rise went down at least twice in the afternoon.

It was the afternoon. We park hopped over to HS. It was a lengthy down time. We were walking up for our das reservation as we saw them dumping the queue. We ended up doing it after our 630 ogas reservation.

I couldn't imagine paying for LL for that experience.

At a guess they were skipping the pre-show to get people into the attraction quickly after the downtime, unless it was the pre-show which was broken which happens but not frequently.

I'm more into the original trilogy. It would be cool if they rethemed this ride to it. Especially since the sequel trilogy movies made less and less. And the latter two were so awful... so awful.
It certainly seems extremely doable. Only person who would be difficult to swap out is Finn, as I doubt Harrison Ford would be agreeable to record lines and allow his likeness in that ride. Rey becomes Luke, BB-8 reworked to R2D2, Poe becomes random x wing pilot or swap out the X wing for the phantom and use Hera, Hux becomes generic Imperial Admiral, Kylo-Vader, trooper helmet replaced, everyone else can stay the same.

For people who care so much, I feel like you all would point out the architecture is different between the First Order & the Empire.

Sure they could do what you just described, but then many would call it cheap.

Other then the AT-AT I don’t see the difference much in the hard scenery so I didn’t mention it.

I'd be asking for my money back. No-one's going to tolerate going the a theater, and the first half the movie doesn't play, and the sound is missing for the last 10 minutes. I don't know why Disney thinks it's OK to pocket the money on days when attractions are barely managing to hit B mode.
