I apologize if this has been asked already but am curious as to what kind of ride system the falcon ride will have. Will is be screen based? Will is be static or on a track of sorts?

Thanks!

It will be a screen based simulator. The cockpits, which are the ride vehicles, will be on a slow moving turntable with the screen outside the cockpit.

Oh, is that a bad or good thing?
Will this be an E ticket?

Think of Star Tours and how you see each vessel lined up in a long corridor.

Now imagine all those ships on a slowly turning round table behind a wall such that when the door opens, you only see the entrance to one of the vehicles. You get in, the door closes, and as you're doing your simulator thing, the turntable rotates so that the next 'vehicle' is behind the entrance door. You get off the ride before you come back around to the entrance door, so, you never see any other group board or exit.

Kinda "Mission Space meets Carousel of Progress"

It's like Back to the Future meets Forbidden Journey meets Mo-Mo the Monster from Six Flags Over Mid America but without any vertical movement or spinning and no McFly or Potter.

To the guest it'll be a smaller and more elaborate Star Tours.

In effect it's seven small Star Tours cabins on King Authors Carousel. Multiplied.

All of a sudden the whole ride seems rickety! Go back to saying it's Star Tours cabins on Carousel of Progress.
